Damn.......that's gonna leave a mark...

This is the kind of stuff that happens when you drink way too much and think if you start drinking Red Bull you will sober up.

That video with the Sheriff and Prosecutor from Broken Arrow could be straight out of My Cousin Vinny.

I don't see anything that makes me believe that their statements are anything other than professional........where did you grow up.......

Okay, a few of those were funny, but overall those two just need to come out of the closet and start dating instead of all the covert flirting. No FUCKING WAY would any of the best friends or battle buddies I've ever had EVER contemplate doing shit like to me, or vice versa. That's a whole different kind of bromance

Re: Broken Arrow...

Its always interesting how people jump on the "They didn't deserve do die for that," or "It's so wrong that you can die for that" band wagon.

Seriously, they were armed with hand weapons, and there were three of them.

Whats really interesting to me is that OK law allows their deaths to be charged as murder for the remaining suspect(s). That's pretty wild.

Of course, it looks like one of her kids was in the car, so perhaps it good that her children get an opportunity for a better upbringing.

I believe there are 7 or 8 states that allow an accessory to a crime to be charged with the entire out come of the crime. Pretty sure Florida is one also.

The Trailerparkoppotamus organized the whole thing, she more than anyone NEEDS to face charges.

It's been awhile since I've taken any law classes, but from what I remember, federal law and the vast majority of states in the U.S. have a felony murder rule, which allows prosecutors to charge all participants in a felony with murder, regardless of who actually pulls the trigger. If you had a role in the crime, you're liable. It's meant as a deterrent against felonies (because criminals are terrified of the legal consequences of their actions /s). Not all jurisdictions agree on the criteria for the charge, but the law is there nonetheless. It doesn't matter if you knew other people committing the felony were carrying weapons or not because courts have decided that it is foreseeable the committing the offense is dangerous and could potentially lead to loss of life. It generally doesn't even matter if the death was intentional, e.g. you and your buddy are robbing a store and he pushes the cashier to the ground, who then hits his head and dies, or you're trying to kidnap someone and they are hit by a car trying to escape from you.

I know that the backwards state of Hawaii does not have a felony murder rule, if that comes as any surprise.

Exactly, there's a certain level of barracks pranking that many "normal" people may never understand, but those dudes are just fucking gay for each other and should just come out and quit pretending those are "pranks"

A few years ago, I had a guy at our local autobody shop try and order me an aluminum magnet from the Snap-On truck. Said that I had one, but lost it. But that the Snap On guy would be able to get me one. The guy told the Snap-on truck when it arrived. And instead of getting laughed at... for three weeks, the Snap-On guy.... tried to order an Aluminum Magnet!

Finally, they both realized they had been... had.

But... wow...

It's still funny!

Cheers,

Sirhr

Growing up in farm country, it was common to send a new kid from somewhere else to go get a basket of post holes.

Wood shop teacher used to send kids he couldn't stand all over the school for the 'board stretcher" the whole faculty was in on it. He just had to send them to any teacher and they would get sent all over the school for days.

I sent an old girlfriend into a deli after chips and bearded clam dip once. To add insult to injury, for some reason she thought telling all our friends about it would garner her some sympathy...

Ive worked in machine shops for near 34 plus years and some of my favorites are ; bucket of steam , bucket of sparks , light bulb repair kit . I set up Robotic Paint cell a couple of years ago and me and the Vice President had the QC manager trying to find a wetness tester . " I'm sure that Starett makes one " . Every time that I would ask him how he coming with that wetness tester he would frantically get on the phone and start calling around .

Wondering if something like that is going to require an alignment check. I'm guessing hitting her dumbass was a lot easier on components than the average pothole.

Next oil change: "Hey, is this a nose ring?"

Yes, get drunk, it almost makes your "sheet reviews" enjoyable. I wonder if he has a "finger count" at the end of the day?

We sent a new guy up to the tool room for a chicken-choking kit (a high-dollar avionics test set, we told him), he came back with a rubber glove and a plumber's helper. To add to the insult, they made him leave his ID card.

For newbies in the Navy, we had the always-popular sea bat, relative bearing grease and mail buoy watch.

We put a guy on mail buoy watch somewhere north of Dutch Harbor until the XO said WTF is the boot doing on the focsle? (It was January)

In the mil: send an FNG to the comms shack to ask the SSGT for a prick E6, to supply for chemlight batteries or MRE forks, to the motor pool for HMMWV ignition keys
working with helos send them to the parts room for a spool of flight line and a bucket of rotor wash

Bucket of Steam from the Snipes down in the engine rooms, 3 hole punch sharpener from Supply with a filled out 1348, Boatswains Punch from the Deck Apes (usually black and blue shoulder after becoming successful). Mail Buoy watch was always epic. One of my favorites done right.
