I will soon decide between these two scopes and am looking for some final input/opinions. The minox would be the 5-25 hopefully in the mr4 maybe mr2. The kahles would be the skmr3. My primary purpose is target shooting, currently shrinking targets down at 1k eventually want to stretch way out when skill level goes up enough. This will be main long distance scope with some cheaper ones for hunting backups (swfa etc.). Obviously mechanics is first but then Things I prefer, forgiving parallax. Good eye box, I wear strong prescription glasses so too small is sometimes hard to align with the glasses (though I try to wear contacts most times). Good turret feel but not crazy picky as long as it is consistent. Glass clarity enough to self spot when spotter is not possible.

I wear prescription glasses while shooting and the parallax was good while shooting both of these at the same time. Eye box was consistent on both. Turrets were similar on both feel wise. SKMR3 and MR4 are near identical without splitting hairs. What it came down to ultimately for myself and my father deciding was the glass. The kahles had better contrast so it made the color pop more down range. I saw some slight CA in the kahles which wasn't a crazy big deal. The deal breaker was the low light performance and a brighter overall glass experience. The Minox was brighter in bright conditions and easier to see downrange closer to twilight. FOV was excellent on both. Hope this helps. My father and I both came to the same decision and he sent the kahles back and bought another Minox. He was more sensitive to the low light situation.
