I motorcycled into Stockholm a few years ago... and the highway North of the city is lined with Saab planes on pedestals. Everything they made.
I'd LOVE to live in a neighborhood full of Viggen's. Saab may have made goofy cars (though ingeniously engineered) but they made amazing planes.

Someone posted that video on FB with the title "fighter lands on the wrong runway" and I crashed the party by explaining that the Swedes expected their Air Force bases to last 5-10 minutes after WWIII started so they designed their roads to land fighters and that the thrust reversers were so the planes could land anywhere and maneuver without tugs. The USN has latched onto the distributed lethality concept and think that they invented it when the Swedes have been doing it for yeeeeears.

You guy's just haven't had 'good' tofu done right so many ways. I was all like ya, I'm not doing that. Not even giving it a chance. I was in Japan for 6 yrs so I ended up eating a lot of things I never would have dreamed of. I'm glad I was willing to try so many things out side of my comfort zone that I actually liked. I can remember getting punished for not eating Moms Eggplant Surprise. I love fried Eggplant now, but back in the day, I'd of shot myself in the foot before eating that shit. Go figure. If it's a texture issue I get it. But tofu can be done so many ways it'll make your head spin and it's yummy. Just say'n. Pussies.

It's outstanding Deep Fried with a light tempura batter. Seriously. NOBODY eats more meat than this guy, NOBODY. It's also good on hot summer days chilled, and I mean chilled big time, the good stuff from Nippon Land, with soy, sesame seeds n chopped scallions. Oh ya Sake. Touch of Sake in the soy sauce. Nice little side dish. I've never smoked it but I have smoked Mochi when having Yaki Mochi. The Japanese use to carry that stuff in their pockets during war. Very filling and enjoyable. There's so many great foods out there and so damn many people have no idea what they're missing, but I get it. I use to be pretty closed minded once myself.........
Mouth is watering as I type this god damnit. Thanks for nothing. Zucchini is a weed. I'm still close minded to Zucchini. It should be removed from the face of the earth, period. Now eggplant breaded n fried is awesome or BBQ'd, or my absolute favorite is with all the other goodies associated with Korean BBQ and LOTS of Kimchi. Daaaaaaaaaamn.
