For those of you who seem to think that I think that this is a funny news item, it most assuredly isn't. I can't begin to convey the depth of my disgust with the depravity displayed by the individual who placed the weapon in the child's hands. Sometimes we employ coping mechanisms that are misunderstood in dealing with our revulsion.

I have been around the gallows humor a lot in my life, short as it has been compared to some of you old farts. Its common and accepted and for those who can wrap their head around it, they understand fully what kind of defense mechanism it is and it is never saying what has happened is ok.

As someone who uses laughter as a coping mechanism (was laughing hysterically at the alter 25 years ago). There is Haha -LOL and there is Ha-ha-----ha- WTF is going on in my head.
I dont find anything in that story funny/humorous but some of the comments sure are.
I have to agree Veer. This is disgusting. In my opinion, it’s too bad the dead guy didn’t take the gun away from the kid and kill the POS Albert Frikkin Davis.
It's either that or sit here seething, thinking about all the inventive ways that I might end a fucker like that. I try not to give in to the inner beast of rage and the gallows humor is my rodeo clown, so to speak. A Sikh with no brakes is a bad, bad thing.

Wow, giving a 3yo a pistol and ordering the 3yo to do the murder is about as low as it gets, well on par with kidfucking in my mind, if not worse in some ways. Just holy fuck. What if the kid remembers or it fucks him up later in life. Why involve the kid. I know why he did it, power over the victim through a child, but still. Fuck.

And the guy definitely has crackhead lips. So it's possibly he had the kid do it because his crackhead mind thought "they'd never charge a child".
