A lawyer had a wife and 12 children and needed to move as his rental agreement was coming to an end for the home where he lived but was having difficulty in finding a new home.
When he said he had 12 children, no one would rent a home to him because they knew that the children would destroy the home.
He could not say that he had no children, he could not lie, after all, lawyers cannot and do not lie.
So, he had an idea: he sent his wife for a walk to the cemetery with 11 children. He took the remaining one with him to see homes with the Real Estate Agent.
He liked one of the homes and the agent asked: "How many children do you have?" He answered: "12 children". The agent asked "Where are the others? The lawyer answered, with a sad look "They are in the cemetery with their mother".
And that's the way he was able to rent a home for his family without lying.
MORAL: It is not necessary to lie; one only has to choose the right words.

I was in that dry dock at Bender Shipbuilding, Mobile, Alabama to work that launch evolution. I have nearly the same photo on one of my computers that I took with my Palm Phone.
During the first submergence, they had a couple of water leaks, so they pumped the dry dock up to make repairs.
They flooded the dry dock the next day and the leaks were fixed so they got it floating for the first time.
Under the stern, there were several steel support towers that the shipyard was supposed to remove the welds prior to submergence. The towers were rigger to one of the wing wall cranes to topple them to get them out of the way of the ship. The crane came up on the rigging and the tower didn’t fall over. I went in to check it out and then burned out the weld the shipyard worker missed and got the evolution back on schedule.

Jason Mark Everman (born October 16, 1967) is an American musician, who played with Nirvana, Soundgarden and OLD. He later served in the US Army as an Army Ranger and Green Beret.

Everman toured with Nirvana the summer of 1989 in support of Bleach. He can be heard playing guitar on Trust No-One, an unofficial release of a live performance in Boston. Cobain had broken his guitar the previous night and only provided vocals, leaving the guitar playing to Everman. Everman can also be seen in the bootleg video of Nirvana playing an "in store" performance at Rhino Records in Los Angeles on June 23, 1989. During his time with Nirvana, he could sometimes be seen using Fender guitars, generally the Fender Telecaster. Nirvana ejected Everman from the band after a short time.[1]
