Technically the Bear Pit is a general area, the Bar is for more grab ass,

when we had the no politics rule the Bear Pit was very different,

They probably could be merged at this point, but remember they are both over 16 years old

The real difference = Naked Pix vs Not as Many Naked Pix

And for the record, I will add that "Maggies Drawers" is actually something, and it pertains to this site. Specifically. Not all know what they are, or why. Therefore, it is a place that deserves to stay as it is, and what it is.

Rename the Bear Pit into "Tyrannosaurus Elbow" or whatever you want,,,, but don't mess with history or heritage. Especially that which is pertaining....

When I was in USMC We had both

1/2 had a Bear Pit in the woods not far from the barracks, our Friday Battalion Runs almost always ended up at the Bear Pit.

Maggies is an East Coast, Stone Bay thing, as I am not aware of others, but it would not surprise to know there is more than one.
