Gunsmithing AI firing pin bushing from .080" down to .062"

Is there a gunsmith that will bush the firing pin on an accuracy international AX308? I was referred to Speedy Gonzalez in TX, but he's proven to be hard to get a hold of. He's not responding to emails and his voicemail is full. Maybe there's someone else that has more time?

I'd send it to Chad at Long Rifles Inc. they do it all the time. Right now they're fixing a FN SPR tactical bolt knob that broke off.

Look at this thread where the OP had an AI that started piercing primers. Starting in post 11, LRI and others talk about bushing the AI firing pin. The only downside is the machining operation could change the headspace from .0005 to .0015

Right now they're fixing a FN SPR tactical bolt knob that broke off.

Did you ever figure out why it broke off? Just curious...

Email sent but the short answer on my broken tactical bolt knob was the original gunsmith installed it in a way that was set up for failure but LRI fixed it. If I had sent the bolt to LRI for the original tactical bolt knob install it never would have broken.
