not sure Coriolis is working, it doesn't change the wind output no matter what direction I point it in

I thought Coriolis affected Elevation and Spin Drift affected Wind.
Coriolis can affect both elevation and windage unless we're going to nitpick about Coriolis vs Eotvos effects.

I think Trasol is six feet under.

For what it's worth, I just updated to the latest Apple iOS, version 11.2.2, and unfortunately also made the jump to Trasol ver. 1.2.3 at the same time. I fully expected to have to re-enter all the profiles again with the newer Trasol, but now the app won't let me save any of the profile data in either the Settings or Equipment screens.
In retrospect, maybe I should have just updated the iOS and stayed on the older Trasol ver. 1.2.2. At least that prior version was working and providing useful data.
Unfortunately, this latest update is completely worthless since it requires you to re-enter all the data each time you use it.. This is too bad as the app provided accurate data and possessed a decently thought out user interface.
If anyone has identified a fix or workaround please post on this thread. Thanks.
After a complete uninstall/reinstall I no longer have any issues with Trasol. It doesn't save my change from Yards to Meters though.
Thanks King, I have done a full delete/re-install several times and the app will not let me save a Settings file. It does not matter whether I make changes to it or not. It brings up the dialogue and allows me to name a file but when selecting ‘Save’ the entered file name is displayed over the Settings screen name identifier. However, when using the ‘Load’ button, a ‘No Settings File Found!’ dialogue screen is displayed.
I can modify, name, and save an Equipment screen. However, the ‘Save’ operation causes the program to immediately crash but then when I restart the program, the just saved Equipment file is loaded by default and the file name is also listed when the Load button is pressed. Any attempt to save/overwrite the file results in an app crash.
Most likely time to abandon TRASOL altogether for the time being. Hoping DT finds the means to support this app in the future as it showed a lot of promise.

Yep! Saw that, tried all of it several times with different variations of same theme.
My app just does not behave like theirs does. Sync just does not work!
Heck, I can’t even get it to accept brand new data from a clean install, much less from previously stored data.
Sorry to hear the fix isn't working for you. Its still my primary app as it hasn't quit on me yet! Fingers crossed. I wonder if it could be something as simple as a problem with your Trasol account login? Just trying to help with all the variables, thats about the

WTF. This app has been my go-to since it came out. And now it's just garbage. I've got an iPhon 6S with latest iOS. I did uninstall and reinstall and now the app doesn't crash. But I can't save any settings/profiles. I type in a profile name and hit save and nothing. Exits out and I go back in to check and there are no profiles listed. Every time I open the app I have to go into settings and change all the units. Super annoying. I reached out to DT a month or two ago and never got a reply.
I wonder if DTA would be willing to sell the rights to a reliable company?
Still crickets. DTA has still not responded here nor via email.
It's a shame for DT having put to rest this otherwise very accurate software.

I finally had a chance to try this out & found it to be off by 1 1/4 moa @ 940 yds. I went to change the DC to correct it. Changed it. Saved the change, reloaded it & the output didn't change at all. I even closed down the app & relaunched it after I saved the change & it still didn't change.

In desperation I changed it to .540 & it didn't change the output.
This morning I went back & made the correction with MV & it did change. Don't know if it's a glitch in the system or what.
Is it probably a new glitch, but since there is no developer we have no idea?
Thanks. That's what I figured when I got it to work this morning. Also noticed that the app uses a lot of power. I fiddled with it for a few minutes and my phone said it used 4% of my battery usage. That's twice that of the other apps I've used today.

I deleted and redownloaded about 2 weeks ago in an attempt to fix the settings glitch, I was able to redownload with no problem/no fee, but it did not fix the glitch.
Not sure what version I’m on but can still save things. It’s a damn shame that DT has seemed to abandon this as it’s one of the best apps for smart phones out IMO. From the day I first tried it, it has been spot on every time. Hopefully they do something with it.
As an update to my previous issue with truing this software. I went out yesterday, and did some truing on all my other apps, and today started in on TRASOL. I did get the DC to change my output but to get it to change about 1/2 moa I had to set it to .4 DC. Doesn't sound right to me. I know that if I adjusted FFS DK by .100 I would be WAY OFF of what I actually needed.

So my TRSSOL app won't open at all. I tried to reinstall it to no avail. It was working just fine all week. I added in my MDR and then that was it folks. Shop frustrating.

Until DT hires a developer to update Trasol, you might as well just forget about it! Been messed up since before last update... and last update just made it even worse! Does NOT WORK!!!
Check out the free Hornady 4DOF app instead. Works well and is being updated regularly. Particularly good if you are using a Hornady projectile.

So I figured it out. I went to TRASOL and long pressed it. It gave me the option to uninstall, app details, etc. I chose App Details and noticed every permission was turned off. I turned on all 4 permissions and bang! It worked! Back in business

I'm an android fanboy. This is what I did.
Went to all my apps, see pic 1
Then I press on the app, with my finger, long enough for this to pop up, see pic 2
I then selected "permission" see pic 3
I then made sure all of them were turned on. I'm good as new now

I'm on an iphone 7 and mine is working fine. pretty sure I have the latest version. I do have all the permissions turned on like Waveslayer mentioned. seems to be saving everything.
Darkside, I'm on an iPhone 7s, running TRASOL v. 1.2.3 and am unable to save a Settings file. If I go with all of the defaults as listed on the start-up Settings file, I can input data into the equipment screen. However, when I try to save the data from the Equipment screen the app crashes and must be restarted. Curiously, once restarted the just saved Equipment data is loaded into the app but the app continues to crash on each subsequent save/update to the Equipment data.
Haven't tried to explore what happens if I actually enter data for two different rifles. USER BEWARE!
I have since downloaded GeoBallistics on my phone and the data is on point with TRASOL. TRASOL seems a little easier to use but not that big of a deal. I’m thinking I’m going to be done with it. ?
DT, I'm a fan boy! Since the MDR is now out and hopefully cashflow is moving again, can we see TRASOL picked up again and supported? I mean this seriously, can we start a go fund me page?
