English-only Gets a Tortazo Across the Snout in San Diego

It sounds like these employees don't like the terms of their employment and they should find another job. Or does the $12/hr guy that keeps the shelves tidy get to dictate company policy?

Which race or national origin? It's the native language for multiple races in multiple countries on a few continents. To say they are targeting a specific race or national origin is a bullshit argument.

Non-Hispanic employees were not similarly harassed or subjected to the no Spanish policy, the lawsuit said."
I'm going to go out on a limb here... Was it because they were Not speaking spanish?

America (as far as I know it) has 1 official language. (or does it?) If so, one would think that it is English.
Canada has two official languages. English and French. (ugggh)
Welcome to our country. This is how we roll. This is how it IS here. If you like it 'there'/want here to be like 'there'/think 'there' is better.... then GO BACK THERE.
ALL of my ancestors that came to this continent, learned this continents ways, and changed/adapted their lifestyles to this continents methods and practices. WHY is that concept so lost/foreign/confusing/beyond so very many 'people' nowadays.

We have no official language. I just ignore anyone that is not attempting to speak American.
It's stupid to say its targeting a specific race but Spanish speaking people aren't going any where. It's all fun and games to know the bad words but when someone gets paranoid that they are being talked about, that changes everything. Knowing two languages is nice... you can tell someone you don't want to deal with that you don't speak English, in Spanish. Then just walk away

There’s very good reasons ( international ) pilots must speak English .
Stopping employees from speaking their native tounge seems an over reach however .
Plenty of Spanish speakers in a few of my workplaces . Pretty easy to tell if they are
talking the piss out of me , or whoever by thier eye movement and body language tho .
If it gets to me , I just call them a bunch of donkey fucking beaners in Urdu or Pashtun ,
seems to confuse them much to my satisfaction ..,.
What is more concerning to me , is how many South Americans have a basic grasp of
Arabic . How T F , and when , did that start ?
