And yet, us conservatives who believe in capital punishment are the "bad guys".

Andre Thomas, 35, of Texoma, was convicted of killing 13-month-old Leyha Marie Hughes, his estranged wife’s daughter in March 2004. His estranged wife Laura Christine Boren, 20, and their son Andre Lee, 4, were also murdered in the same attack that occurred in Grayson County, about 60 miles north of Dallas.

The victims were stabbed and had their hearts ripped out. Thomas told police he put the hearts in his pocket, and took them home, where he placed them in a plastic bag and then threw them in the trash.

Thomas stabbed himself a few times before he walked to the Sherman Police Department and told them that he had murdered the trio. He claimed God told him to commit the killings.

Killed three, including his own four year old son and a baby girl, by ripping their hearts out. If this level of evil doesn't deserve to be completely and permanently removed from all society, regardless of what his mental state may be or have been, what the fuck does?

Purposely withheld comment regarding what he did to his "VICTIMS". Shocked it took 5 posts to point this absurd fact out just what he did to them.

Common sense tells you ya can't fix this. Just put'm down, cheaply. (n)

I don't quite get why liberals are all hung up on not wanting to execute murderous insane or murderous moronic criminals.
Just because they are insane or morons, doesn't make their crimes any less heinous.
If someone is too stupid or too insane to realize that brutally murdering people is wrong, then best rid the human race of the problem.

Hanging solved all these problems. No issue with too old, to weak, too big, too small, not enough drugs, too stupid, too crazy.. Just need a rope and something to tie it off on.

Oh and this whole "suicide watch" thing is BS... give them all the rope and plastic bags they want.. save us the trouble.

They love the criminals because that's part of their voter base. Just look at Virginia and the democratic push to grant clemency to >200K felons, restoring their voter rights because they knew those were votes to solidify their hold on the statewide elections, and damn near broke the marginal hold repubs have on the General Assembly in 2016 when only a small percentage had cleared all the hurdles. This year, that will probably shift and doom that state into full blue stranglehold. Funny though, the governor didn't restore the rest of their civil rights, namely gun ownership, leaving that one in the courts' hands to do his dirty work for him. All part fo the reason I no longer live there.

As for hanging, I love it, much cleaner and less froggy than a guillotine. I'm all for 19th century style gallows in the city square. When executions were public and the gallows were a semi-permanent fixture, people paid attention.

Apparently the New York Governor that vile Como is feeling the heat from Miranda and was busy granting voting rights to felons as fast as he can, hoping they will vote for him. I'd love to see Nixon win because it would be perfect justice for Como. (You can't get any worse on gun rights than Como).

He's another who will restore rights that benefit him, but none of the rest. Looking at Cynthia Nixon's platform and talking points, I hope she wins. Legalize MJ, put NY on 100% renewable energy, wealth redistribution, credentialing illegals, and going further on gun control than Cuomo did. She would nosedive NY into oblivion, where it deserves to be. Bringing Hollywood politics to NY, I love it!

And hey, who doesn't want to be a quick google image search away from seeing their woman governor's tits. Unless you're in Oregon or Alabama, because, ewww....

I dont trust our justice system to be responsible for managing the death penalty. Once we get back to a single set of laws for the country we can relook the situation, right now when there are two sets of laws its a no go in my book.

I agree, but I think no government should have the power to kill its citizens or make irreversible decisions; especially if it’s going to have a democratic element.
