Jumping feet first into this hobby. Something I always wanted to do. Taking lessons once everything gets here.

You're jumping feet first! Are you reloading your own ammo? How did you decide on all the pictures items?
The rifle I picked out on my own. I did tons of research and seems to be one of the best off the shelf rifles you can buy for hunting and fun days at the range.
Most of the rest of the stuff was at suggestion of instructor of class. He didn’t recommend a brand of scope just about 5 criteria. I know I kinda went nuts with the scope but I would rather buy once than in 2 months wish I would of bought something else.

Buying ammo for now but will definitely start saving brass. Reloading will be nectbthing we look into

Probably will return it. Just seemed good to have.
I wasnt trying to imply any disrespect, I am just trying to save you money and time spent finding out how your gun shoots in a lead sled when that time can be better used learning how to shoot the rifle in more practical situations and get practice with the fundamentals, npa, loading bipod, proper body position, etc. Unless you plan to always use a lead sled then my comment can be ignored.

Not for nuthin there is another thread wherein someone asked something to the effect of what is the single best piece of gear? Lots of folks replied that it was a spotting scope. Learning to read the wind is what going to be the hardest thing.......somewhere in you plans at some point, add a decent spotting scope.

Shopping for them as we speak. Also ordered this combo to help with wind
