Another Layer For School Security

I just saw this little device that would work beautifully for schools when there's a breach in security. It's something so simple, yet it looks like it would be very effective. Doors with large windows would have to be replaced, but I think this would be another layer of security for most schools.

How about the law enforcement officers assigned as school resource officers start face shooting some MFers that attempt to harm anyone at the school...You will be amazed at how drastically that will reduce the school shooting popularity that is going on.

Nah, you could rig it so that it'd only be able to lock if the door was completely closed. Really, all you'd need is a reinforced hole in the ground, and a pretty tight fitting tube to hold the bracing rod. Think bolt-action door lock except beefy as hell, and it locks into the ground instead of the door frame.

How about every parent who looses a kid while LE does nothing gets the cops loaded gun and twenty minutes to splain to the cop why he shoulda done his job.

how about going back to smaller schools instead of prepping our kids to live in secure institutionalized prison like schools. We are making a huge mistake turning our schools into compounds to cure a problem that is less of a problem today than it was 20 years ago.
