If I needed MLOK, I'd be buying this one (however, I don't have any personal experience with it, but it is Badger Ordnance)

With this one, you remove the sling swivel mount from the bipod and replace it, so it's lower profile than any pic rail type mount (LaRue, ADM, etc).
I’ll second it, my cousin uses it and seems pleased. The only thing is it’s not quick release if that matters.

I have the Magpul aluminum and it has worked great for two years plus. Are you sure you got an authentic Magpul adapter and a cheap knockoff? I only ask because I was sent a cheap counterfeit through Amazon.

And if they are genuine and still breaking, is it possible you are loading the bipod too heavily?

The Magpul mount was purchased through Amazon. It broke when the rifle fell after getting knocked off the tailgate of my truck. I bought theThe Odin Works to try after that and it broke in less than 2 magazines.

I have looked at those but did not want to permanently modify my bipod just for 1 rifle or have to buy another bipod just for this rifle.

It's not really a permanent mod. You just unscrew the tension knob, remove the long pivot pin and remove the bipod from the mount. To make it faster, you would need to replace the copper colored split ring with something faster (like a loose leaf paper snap ring) taking it off the original mount.
However, I understand where you are coming from.

For Keymod, I use Impact Weapon Components sling swivel mount. I'd suggest you try their MLOK mount. They have a lifetime warrantee. Less than $16.

Shown on a MOE handguard, but works with MLOK too.

Thanks I will give them a look.

I use the actual Magpul mlok bipod adapter. Don’t buy off amazon or eBay or you’ll just get a China knock off that doesn’t even remotely look like the actual product. Something like brownells. If you can add with some other products with a promo code = damn near get it for next to nothing

If you have a section of rail you can use a Larue LT130. Pricey at $85, but works well.

Personally I much prefer a QD mount like this on a rail section than having the bipod directly mounted to the gun. I don't like having the bipod attached most of the time, and only attach it when needed. The QD mount like the one above makes that a lot easier; it adds a little height to the bipod but that doesn't seem to be a problem. IIRC ADM and maybe Midwest Industries make something similar as well.

I have the Magpul version on a .22 so it doesn’t get beat on like a regular rifle. I bought it from Sportsmans Warehouse. Seems like a lot of stuff like this from Amazon ends up being counterfeit.

I’ve also used some of the Impact Weapons Component stuff. It’s good stuff.

I am looking for an adapter to put a Harris Bipod on my AR-10 with MLok handuard. It will be used for hog hunting and plinking steel.
