Brownells is about an hour away from me and they have both in stock. I might have to make a road trip.I would try to find someone/somewhere that would let you look through some of the scopes you listed...I personally would choose better glass over higher magnification...if you have a Cabelas near you they may have a kahles and the nightforce in stock and they will let you look through them outside...or at least here in Nevada they will
At the distances you can get to with the 300 NM, it is hard not to recommend the NF 7-35. I just wish NF would offer a better choice for an illuminated tree reticle in it.

Thought about that too, with the military discount its hard to pass up at that price. I like the fact you also get some more elevation as well. I just wish it had locking turrets.Gen I Razor 5x25.
Hi,
Since elevation is the easiest thing to get more of due to the numerous adjustable mount options, Tarac, etc...I would go with scope that has the reticle you want as long as that scope is mechanically repeatable. With your choices of NF7-35, SB5-25, K5-25....since they are all very well known for mechanically repeatable then I would go with NF7-35 strictly on its' higher magnification. YES I know that a majority of the time ELR shooters end up at around 19-22X as their most used magnification setting but there are times that the environment and conditions are just right in which you can dial the magnification higher, so having that option is always a good thing.
Sincerely,
Theis
Get TONS of elevation. I wish they could get the same elevation in the GenII.
Trying to decide between Razor HD gen 2, NF 7-35, SB PMII 5-25 and Kahles 525i.
Will do! What is the best time to call?Feel free to give us a call at 916-670-1103, we'd be happy to discuss various pros and cons to the optics you're considering![]()
Any advantage to go with the new 5-25x?Kahles. I use the 624 with AMR on a 40moa rail for my 300NM.
Speaking to a ELR shooter and instructor he recommended an Ivey mount.
