You are brainwashed, the Constitution says there should be very little Federal government at all, try reading it, its short and in plain English, you need a third grade education to understand it and a law degree to try to undermine it.

And why would there be no USA? Or Constitution, The biggest threat to the USA and the Constitution is the Federal Government.

I have not advocated for a federal income tax. In fact, I proposed a tax based on consumption.

The US should have NEVER spent a single dollar to rebuild Germany or Japan. That was an example of stupidity.

I think the US had aspirations of establishing the US Dollar as the world's reserve currency immediately after WW2 since the British Pound was wrecked from the war. What better way to do it than to put it to work all over the globe? We should have kept the US Dollar to ourselves and kept it backed by gold.

If that was the objective okay but I still disagree. The US dollar would have been used as the reserve current eventually due to the global presence of the US. Rebuilding Germany and Japan after the war was the same as winning a law suit and then paying the other persons legal fees. It also allowed Germany and Japan to become global economic powers much quicker than if they had to rebuild their own countries. Not enough negative reinforcement for the war. You could say that rebuilding both countries led to them being good allies now, then it might be worth it.

1.) The Democrats and the left aren't smart enough to mastermind the kinds of large news events of the last month. They're barely smart enough to even understand them.
2.) More importantly, it would require the complicity and operational security of too many people. One person can keep a secret. Tell someone and it's not a secret anymore.
3.) While the media is fully manipulated and a plurality is little more than leftist propaganda organs, they are not directly controlled, and if they found out how badly they're being manipulated they would turn on the identified manipulator in an instant. Even a compliant media is still playing with fire especially in this day and age where a good 60% of it is just an echo chamber.
4.) Most of the time things are as they appear. Who believed in Trump/Russia collusion from the get go? It certainly appeared at the very beginning to be a manufactured coup attempt, and so it is.

The early founding fathers realized a great way to raise "tax" money and have everybody happy was to have a lottery.
Much like so many states these days rely on for filling their budget.
Perhaps the federal government could do the same once again?

We could get rid of the IRS with a national lottery. Just think of how many people that would gladly stand in line just to give the feds a portion of their income just for the perceived chance of hitting it big. Those of us that are wise to the power of math and statistics would be free to save as much as we wanted.

Why are we the country that people are trying to come to? Why does the letters USA spell freedom to the weak, poor, and afflicted? Whatever our government is the principles it stand for still stand in the global sense. I know the average US citizen is disgruntled...but think past your own small problems to mankind in general. We have it so good here. So many rights, so many freedoms, we are allowed to live even. Think of the countries where genocide is common. No rights. Not even the right to live. Why not come in aid of the weak so that when the weak, fat, lazy, citizens of the country that rules the world has backup from grateful allies? Of course it is hard for some to see the big picture when they are the only one in it.

What would America be today without government? I leave it to you. See there is persons capable of looking outside their own circumstances to see that the good of all is taken into mind. Are you in a cell unjustly? Starved? Beaten? Family taken away? No rights? Or maybe it's just some taxes because you were free to make money. Human kindness and decency are a staple of America. Let's not let bitterness against a few stupid politicians destroy that. At the same time load up and be prepared. In business we smile, agree, but verify. It doesn't cost anything to be nice but firm.

Our governments obligation is to it's people first. Based on the homeless by choice issues in LA, San Fran, Portland, Seattle and elsewhere the government cannot take care of their own at the taxpayers expense and compromised safety. A stand needs to be taken and it's about damn time.

I agree in principle. There is such that are a product of their times. However I believe that in the main these so called refugees are acting in their own volition even if spurred on by others. Of course they want to come to the land of the free and home of the brave. How much persuading needed to be done? Everyone knows that America is the best.

Those that are born here and are draining society piss me off the most. Why should I have to pay your way because you burnt yourself out in high school or college? I will gladly pay for military and veterans just not no good bums that weaken us as a nation and can only get a job as a politician.
