I never said PVA wasn’t known. Josh is an excellent man and has contributed information to me on a personal level, and I’ve never bought anything of his.
All I was saying is if someone is that impatient, there are other vendors that are faster with the same quality.

Order a new JH rifle, get free shipping to your FFL, a 60$ value. Even though it’s only 60$, to me it makes a statement. I have to agree w/ the comment above, take care of existing customers first. Taking care of new customers before existing customers is not the best business philosophy, guess it works for cable and satellite tv lol
So ask for a refund and find another business? Try LRI. Days out. Not months.

FYI, PVA will not refund your money, once your deposit is made, you have no choice but to wait. They may let you switch to an in-stock barreled action but you would have to ask?
From multiple other forum members contacting them and working with them to sell their spots.

I may be a new member to Snipers Hide, but that doesn't mean I'm new to guns, shooting, life. I am not young or inexperienced. I've been target shooting for 15 years and consider myself knowledgeable and a decent shot. I also know bad business when I see it.

Anyway I'm done here. If you are inclined to wait...more power to you, and when you get your gun, I hope it's everything you expected. As for me, i'm not getting any younger and there are literally thousands of great shooting rifles out there available now.

Maybe next time you should try calling them and discussing your disappointment before bashing them in a public thread. Seems like you are so angry at a black friday sale (which has nothing to do with you) that you don't even want your gun anymore. If it were me, I would try speaking to PVA first. If that didn't work, as others have already stated, maybe you could try to sell your spot. I don't think acting like an asshat on a public forum will get you your gun or your money.

I’ve had some issues with a order from PVA but Josh and Jeremy were stand up guys and took care of it. Funny you never mention of talking with them and working something out. You Sir, are100% correct , I never said otherwise. Until you mentioned it, I wasn’t aware that PVA would assist me in selling my spot/rifle? I spoke with Josh in Sept about converting my JH to a Nucleus barreled action and the topic/option of PVA selling my spot/JH was never mentioned. I haven't called since Sept as I don't want to bother them, they have a lot of work to do and don't need a bunch of calls distracting them and taking time away from rifle builds. Its really not a big deal to me, if you look at my post, #440, its a win win situation. I realize these guys are trying to do something, in my opinion, that nobody has ever done, and I respect that. Im not going to call them any more.
Anybody complaining about the hold up on the JHR specifically, you need to point your frustration at the ATF. The JHR actions have been sitting in a box at ARC collecting dust waiting on the damn ATF for marking variance approval. As soon as it went through, guns were back in process. If you get visa to cancel your order bc of a wait, then you should probably turn your visa card sideways and slam it up your ass and get double cash back.. This isnt PVA or ARC's fault. You sound like a fucking child, mad at mommy for saying you have to wait until Christmas before you get that new toy you want.
No dog in this fight but I would not order a JHR until they deliver some rifles. I also will never wait 6 months plus for a production rifle. Cause its supposed to be production. If I would have got in on the preorder I am however old enough to realize its a get it when you get it deal. I would just try to forget I ordered it tell it shows up.
I am sure it will rule and probably dominate production class and lead to others doing the same thing and bringing the cost down on awesome rifles for all. Maybe in a year when the lead times are lower. That will probably not happen though, because im sure demand will go up as soon as they are delivered and start being shot in competition.

Everything is great on it. No complaints at all. The Barloc is great. I really don’t know how much I’ll use the Barloc though as I don’t plan on switching barrels until I shoot this one out. The Barloc is ingenious though and very easy to setup. The stock and action are great. I’ve only sent about 30 rounds down the pipe but so far so good.
