Red flag law in Maryland

From the article:

"The orders are confidential, so Sherman said it’s unclear how many firearms were surrendered, for how long, for what reason or by whom. "

No due process.

One person shot and killed by police officers so far when he wouldn't surrender his guns. No officers injured.

If anyone one of those 61 refuses to do so and shoots they will immediately be labeled as crazy. I feel sorry for the cops having to go get them.

Banning guns solves everything, just like banning drugs did.

"Two Anne Arundel County police officers serving a red flag protective order to remove guns from a house killed Gary J. Willis, 61, of Ferndale after he refused to give up his gun and a struggle ensued last week, police said.

Anne Arundel Police Chief Timothy Altomare said the shooting was a sign that the law is needed, while state gun rights advocates called for the law to be suspended and repealed after Willis’ death."

WRONG... if the police hadn't been there, to infringe on the gentleman's Rights, then there's a good chance that he wouldn't have been shot by the police.

I think you've touched on an important part.
The answer of how they'll try to disarm us and if the police will participate.

The sad part is they knew this would be a result and they are hoping for more of the same to further the agenda.

Again, a license to kill gun owners. Rather than going after gangbangers and violent criminals, where the cops actually have to put effort into their job, they go after legal gun owners. Owners that are easy to find, unlike the criminals they are supposed to be going after.

These red flag laws circumvent due process and criminalize ALL gun owners.

they need to kill back.

Why? Those police officers know exactly what the bill will lead to towards themselves and the populace in general. They don't care and with the exception of the gutless few (who by not speaking up and putting a stop to it are just as complicit) support this type of thing. The real cut of this is that the LEO are going after and oppressing/killing the very people who in overwhelming numbers support them, that support however is going to be eroding with each door kick and bill passage, unless they refuse to follow such an order.

It’s a snuff law.
A clear violation of the 4th Amendment. Actually I believe this is why the 4th Amendment was written.
Hope someone drags these assholes and their illegal law to the SCOTUS. We’ll see if these new justices are truly originalists or not.

Hey, but Gov Kasich in Ohio loves Red Flag Laws. Asshole.
