16. That ain’t shit. Wife’s seen worse down at HUP in Philly. Pretty sure 11 or 12 was the youngest.

My dad was coroner for a couple years in the podunk county we lived in and I remember him talking about a call where including the dead baby, there were 5 generations of females in the house - and not a centenarian among 'em. You can fill in the blanks.

Who would ever expose themselves on an open rock face and shoot at a target straight down from them? And, have to pull themselves or be pulled up to get to cover?

That’s not “Ranger as fuck!” That’s stupid as fuck.

That was an experiment at a high angle course taught by Jacob Bynum of Rifles Only (pictured there). I was behind the camera. It was to illustrate the interesting effects of mechanical offset and lack of gravity effects on projectiles when fired straight down with a 100 yard zero at distances further than 100 yards. Plus, it was fun.

The rigging itself was not too hard, but I was worried I would drop my camera. We had a lot of very photo worthy moments that class.

That's some cool stuff right there! We used to call the 'face down' rappelling "Going Australian." The Trick was to dismount without planting your face in the sand!

Cheers and thanks for the explanation!

Did a bit of that Australian rappelling when I climbed. Just because standard is boring.

All tourists want old carpets- antiques

Not sure what is happening in the picture

Bleach and water is frequently mopped on and removed to age carpets

I imagine the sun is cheaper than bleach

New carpet might be $40-$60 in the bazar

An old carpet - 100+ years old might be $500

Cheating tourists is probably an occupation older than street walking

Workers lay carpets out to dry on Aug. 10 in Dosemealti, Turkey.
Handmade carpets, flat woven kilims and embroidered rugs from all over Turkey are sent to Dosemalti to be laid out in the sun to soften the colors and give them an antique look.

Uhh......funny, I just bought one of them Rugers. Nice pistol, lots of fun with a can. Nice finish, nice price. It came with a top and bottom rail installed, 5 rail mounting screws total installed. I think they are 4-40 UNF. I don't want anything on the rails, or the rails themselves, so I removed them. Gonna use open/iron sights. I saw somewhere on the webz that if you e-mailed Ruger customer service, they would send you blued filler screws. So, I e-mailed them. It required a little bit of hoop jumping, but not bad. Couple of weeks later (Thanksgiving and what not) I receive a package from Ruger.
3. fukkin'. screws........
Now, I have to e-mail them once again, probably will have to get on bended knee and beg for 2 more filler screws......Ruger; For God's sake, how much could it possibly cost to just include 5 filler screws in the original box with the pistol ? FFS, charge a dollar more for the pistol and include the damn filler screws........
Flip side is the take down and re-assembly nightmare from previous versions has been very nicely solved with this version, so I'll swallow my tongue about the filler screws......No, wait !........

The best way to get to know someone is to work with them.

I completely agree, the best friends I've ever met, and the best lovers I've ever had, were ones I met through working on a project together that we were both passionate about.

However, NOT dating coworkers at a job that I am not passionate about and am there just to make money, is a cardinal rule for me.
