Long past due, bloodshed and violence is all the African people understand.
I have worked in cape town several times between 2006 and 2015 and in that short time you could see it going to shit.
Had a few friends I made through work that live there so got some first hand knowledge of the direction things were going.
Pretty sad when you consider that not that long ago Cape Town was among the most modern cities in the world.

I would bet most of the intelligent farmers have been working on or at least giving serious thought to getting to the USA or Australia for some time now, or have already left.
It's going to be a bit hard to last too long when the natives decide to do ethnic cleansing and the whole world lines up to give them a hand getting it done more efficiently.

I think the ones that could have, or had the desire to, have already left. I have several SA friends, and this comes up frequently wrt the crap the ANC has done over the pst few years. Ironically, these are the least racist people I know; damned sure more tolerant than a lot of Americans I know.
One of my cousins own a restaurant in Johannesburg. Every few years, he and his family would go back to Shanghai and we would have a large reunion. He has told us that "at BEST", the ANC government simply does not care about the violent crimes committed against business owners and anyone who is slightly more well off than their equivalent of the free shit army and militant SJW leeches. The leftist government itself may or may not have encouraged and participated in vicious attacks against 'capitalists' there over the years. If you are white or Asian in South Africa, there is basically an open season sign over your head. You are liable to be robbed, assaulted, kidnapped, and even murdered at any time. And he goes on to tell us that the only way to ensure your survival there, is to arm yourself illegally...

Hopefully the Boers have more salt than most Americans these days. We just keep rolling over, giving up ground, pushing off the inevitable, and making excuses for why we haven't fought back, while we are weakened from within and without by a govt that hates us and a systematic and hostile takeover of our education, our children, our faith, and our judiciary by Liberty and God hating communists. Don't worry, I count myself among those that have made excuses... My kids are too young, I have too much student debt to lose my job, things haven't gotten bad enough yet, my asshole won't do well in prison, etc, etc, ad nauseam.

There was a female farm activist bludgeoned to death in her home recently too. If Trump fast tracks any immigration it should include all these hard working and resourceful people that would come who are being killed for the color of their skin.

Despite many negative, twisted reports, Orania has an open policy towards the media, because we believe that Orania has a story to tell from which other communities can learn something.
The 24-hour news channel eNCA visited Orania as part of its statewide coverage of upcoming elections. The eNCA visit was typical political activism journalism. With many provocative questions, almost all about race, they tried to lead Oranians into a trap. However, this did not succeed, and most of the comments after the report were positive towards Orania.
Apart from the increased media presence, Orania is also a popular scapegoat of extremist parties before the elections. Both Black First Land First (BLF) and Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) threatened to occupy Orania because this is supposedly a racist place. The noise is the same before every election, and as usual, nothing happens. Orania is still on high alert and exercises to ward off an invasion are being performed. From experience we know that after the elections (May 8th) everything will be quiet again and Orania will be forgotten. What makes Orania different from the political parties and its promise and excitement politics is that we calmly and tenaciously build a long-term future. Parties, elections and their noise come and go, but Orania will continue to grow.

Im assuming Orania has a strong right to bear arms policy and no NFA restrictions.
Wonder how they manage that being landlocked in the midst of the greater govt.

We are friends with a SA woman that watched our kids on occasion. She was a live in nanny for another family and we would hire her to help us out. She went to school local to get an education degree. Great person, kids hate her because she wouldnt take shit.
She is back in SA because she actually complied with our visa/immigration laws. My wife gets emails once in a while, she seems kind of desperate to get out.

I have said it many times Africa is a super continent with all the resources needed for a first world economy .
Problem is the people and culture can't get out of their own way , even with huge amounts of money and tech from the west.
