A company called Urban Carry advertises a lot for their appendix pouch.

Does anyone own or has trained with the urban carry holster?

Does it work as advertised or will you lose the gun when drawing from the holster?

Some of the Amazon reviews make me think it is a junk way to carry

Forget about using this unless you wear pants that are 2 sizes too big and don't wear a belt...i couldn't get this thing out of my pants even with my smallest pistol. Would not recommend for protection. And it makes you look like you recently took a Viagra.

Physics is physics. You can only hide a gun of a certain size so well. High on the hip or abdomen is usually the most concealed way to carry. Body type usually dictates how and where you carry.

Small and light for Summer is the LCPs forte.

I started abdomen carry and moved to 2:30-3:00 after awhile. Abdomen can be tricky sitting down. Especially if you have a long barrel. ?

Crossbreed Supertuck/Minituck in the flavor of your choice. These have worked and held up very well for me.

Is the comp-tac for flexible, adjustable? Just wondering the differences from a guy who has tried both.
Good to have options in my noggin to offer as suggestions when people ask for a list of them to try.

The Crossbreed works for my body type and where I carry on my body.

I have friends who can't stand it due to differences.

Urban Cary is junk.

AIWB is the best way to carry for most people by far. JM Custom Kydex with neoprene wedge and claw and it will disapear most things.

I've got one for a M&P and can not find a comfortable spot for it.

It won't sit still.

Maybe I need to lose 20 pounds but I don't think it will make enough of a difference.

Stealthgear has set the new standard for a "hybrid" holster. I was pretty much sold on MS VMII's until I tried a Stealthgear. Now I get one of those first and the Sparks later.

My brother got me one of these.... worst fucking holster ever. Give me an Aliengear over that.

Depending how/where you carry and your body type, I'm using a Teir 1 Concealment AGIS now and carry a 19X with an extra mag, under a Tshirt.
Trex arms Sidecar is also a good option but the AGIS is a bit more comfortable.
