Why can any of the manufacturers not make a nice heavy barrel, AFFORDABLE, left handed bold gun for a 22 trainer? I know anschutz, and voodoo make them but that's out of the budget right now. I have owned a cz452, and a savage mark 2, but they only make thin barreled models, and the cz452 is a bitch to rebarrel.

CZ457, Tikka t1x, ruger rimfire, something. Throw us poor southpaws a bone here!!!

We’re left out because we’re in our right mind. Savage makes a heavy.

I'm hopelessly left handed (but right eye dominant), so the economies of scale didn't matter to Vudoo :D.

Vudoo charges what's necessary to give customers XACTLY what they want, and is using a different business model than economies of scale.

Which it totally cool. And is what I meant by post # 5 in this thread.

I’m left eye dominant but luckily prefer to work bolts with my support (right) hand. I also trained myself to shoot off of both shoulders when young squirrel hunter. This came in handy in the military.. when I got out I put a ambi switch on my ar and I never end up using it due to muscle memory.

I'm followin' ya and your economies-of-scale assessment is 100% correct. The larger manufacturers look at the market only as it benefits them, smaller and/or more specialized companies appreciate the market differently for different reasons.

I'm thankful for the Vudoo's of the world. And in awe of their craftsmanship.

Both they and the large mega manucfacturers serve a purpose. I can't blame anyone for wanting to make money in the gun industry, whichever business model used. The mega manufacturers see very little of my money, but I'm still glad they exist.
