I bought one of these for work - don't. They are ok (ish) for cleaning flat and regular tig runs, but hopeless at cleaning anything else, particularly MIG fillet welds, and don't like going into corners.

My wife works a concession stand at the local hockey rink and the pool in the summer. Her staff is almost always high school kids. The registers are programmed for tax and total and then tell you what change to give. Even with that these brain dead useless as tits on a bull kiddies struggle with making change. It is positively pathetic to watch.
Math totally escapes some people regardless of age. That said, kids haven’t changed a bit. Parents have.

I pay with cash quite a bit and I see that all the time.
My wife is a teacher, last year the head of math over the entire district wanted to drop the lessons on teaching money. Her reasoning was that no one uses cash anymore. The teachers fought it and won, at least for a few more years.
saw something today that made me smile a lot . An old spanish / latin lady at out local gun range with her son and daughter I think she was yelling at her son to slow down and explain to her how she should hold the handgun so after a few minutes of yelling at him in spanish and mixed english he started over now I take it for granted many years ago my father doing the same thing with me and I am sure with the same expression and look on his face this fella had on his that his mother that mix of frustration and what I take as wanting to get what he was saying across as she did not get what he was trying to tell her . after even more time she shot the gun hitting the paper maybe 10 feet away and with screams of joy and delight that she did it again the same look on my fathers face and mine when I hit the target she also was happy . so this person had the chance to shoot a gun for the first time very cool in of its self . she also had the chance to experience that that thing called a gun is kinda fun to shoot also pretty cool . and best of all she had the day to try something new with her son and daughter as they were leaving I got a laugh as she told her son its not so bad and they should come out more often . I hope they do .
