Something like 2500 kids a year die in motor vehicle accidents and another 250k injured but let's raise the age to purchase rifles instead of drive a 3k pound car at 70mph.

There is something in American Culture that is fucking people up so bad that they are murdering their neighbors, coworkers, children, and anyone they feel has wronged them.
I have not seen any realistic dialog nor troubleshooting trying to identify exactly what is driving people to this extreme but until we start looking for the cause we will not find the answer. Most of these mass shooter are young fucked up spoiled brats that got out in the real world and can’t deal with it! Had no teaching of discipline, consequence in their raising! Also prob not brought up believing in God and his teachings! You cant social engineer fix a certain class of losers. For them, there has to be iron clad rules, strongly enforced. This is not present today, no one is held to a standard of discipline across the board, it's a feel good across the board.
When individual feel good fails, hello feeling of loss, depression, and anger. Feel lost long enough, and get angry enough, revert to law of the jungle, hurt anybody you can to equal your hurt.

Sorry I posted wrong and corrected it. Obviously there have been people exonerated from death row. I took issue with only the last premise of his post.
In a modern court room. My only point is if you are on death row today and have been though all your appeals you are there for the reason you accused of. I believe most would agree that death row inmates are given way more leeway then they should be. I also think that the death penalty is best used in cases like the rampaging piece of trash that murdered all those folks in El Paso. A quick trial and a quick end. If there is any doubt then go with life w/o prole.
Unless they have metal detectors and pat downs, well deep concealed stays deep concealed.
