On a more serious note, anyone living on or near the shoreline hopefully will not be an idiot and try to "ride it out" if they are about to get hit with this monster storm. Nothing to play around with. People who have never actually been through a direct hit from a major hurricane have no idea how dangerous they actually are.

It is literally crawling along at below 10 miles per hour. Last update from NOAA it is still hammering the Bahamas big time. 'Catastrophic' flooding being reported. This is going to be bad for anywhere that this thing eventually reaches. The amount of rain that a hurricane this powerful can drop within a single hour is no laughing matter.
