Tikka Action question

Can the action of a Tikka T3 in 223 be used to build a 6.5CM on a Tikka action. I know the KRG whisky chassis is good to go for short action 223 to 308

Yep, as long as you either swap to a bolt with the correct face, or open up the face on your .223 bolt.

Yes, it can be done but at the end of the day, you may be money ahead to sell the 223 and buy a 6.5 action. Bolts aren't cheap and you will need a different bolt stop as well.

I ended up with 2 bolts for mine as I got a PVA switch barrel. Spare bolt was waaay too expensive. Almost better buying a used donor rifle.
