Does MDT have a phone number?

I ordered a magazine two weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. Their website doesn't have a phone number.
 
I got my Black Friday magazines Saturday.

Phone should be 604 393 0800
 
Same situation as last year. Back ordered and weeks out from shipping. I just got off the phone with them. Poor form if you ask me.
 
I know you already contacted them but for anyone else that’s waiting for MDT orders from Black Friday, I was told yesterday that orders placed will be shipping out over the next two weeks for in stock items only.

I’m still waiting for my blem mags purchased on the 28th.
 
I couldn't find a blem on anything...I wished I would have ordered another half dozen 300wm 3.850 CIP for the 300PRC. I don't mind waiting at the price they went for.
 
I took a bit but I got my tracking info from MDT and I'm 100% fine with it. I expected a delay due to Black Friday
 
I was told stuff was going to ship quickly if you ordered on Thursday, which I did. Quickly meaning a week or so.

ALG/Geissle took 30 days to ship a blem. I’m wondering if MDT actually has this stuff on hand.
 
Was told the same thing which is why I ordered it. Called today and they don't have stock in. Two weeks minimum to restock. That puts the order at one month. Poor form is selling items you don't have in stock without letting the customer decide up front if the lead times are acceptable. We butcher Optics Planet for the same thing time and time again but MDT gets a pass. Second year in a row they pulled this.

Then stop buying their stuff for ridiculous discounts during their one and only sale of the year. That leaves more stuff for the rest of us, Veruca.
 
Hey guys and gals, we are really sorry about the wait times and we really appreciate your understanding and patience! Yes, we get it, it's frustrating having to wait for stuff and we wish we could ship everyone's orders the second we charge you, but the reality is that we can't.

We spent months before the sale trying to determine what we would sell out of and how much of each product you'd all want and stocked so much extra in preparation. Obviously, we can't predict it 100% and we're doing our damnedest to catch up with orders and production now :) If you'd like to contact us, hit the little support button on the site and one of our customer service guys (who are still working OT to answer your questions after this sale) will get back to you ASAP.

I did call and get one of the guys, his answer was pretty vague. "Yea hopefully it will ship in the next week or two". Didn't ask for order number or anything. I'm sure he has answered the same question 500 times yesterday. Still miffed me a bit at his lack of interest into looking into what I actually ordered as to give a better time frame.
This is my first time buying from MDT and while I am far from upset I do currently have a slight bad taste in my mouth based on the interaction with the CS.
 
How would you tell what was backordered and what wasn’t? I didn’t see anything showing the difference.

My order supposedly shipped. Says processing when I log in but was told on Monday by email when I tried to make a change that it shipped already. No tracking number but maybe it went out and is on the way. I will find out soon enough.

It’s not just MDT backed up guys. It’s every online store I have ordered from during the holiday season. I have several orders on in stock items still waiting to be shipped, for the last couple week. Some wayyy bigger stores and manufactures than MDT. Get over it and cry about something else like our ten million form 4’s waiting for approval.

Once a year, MDT gives you really good, really cheap. I waited until February of this year for my 2018 Black Friday magazines - and MDT kept me informed about where they were in the process.

@MDT_Josh, @MDT_OFFICIAL - keep it up, guys. Those of us who know you appreciate both your products and support of the community.
 
I've never understood people's endgame for making threads like this. Took me all of 20 seconds to find their customer service phone number on the MDT website. I'll be honest with you, I have a hard time siding with a poster complaint, no matter how valid, when they can't find a phone number clearly listed on the bottom of a website Help Center page.

Also more perplexing is why someone is surprised this happened for this order despite having the same thing happen last year and getting upset. If you want something in hand right away great, order during the 10 other months of the year from them or dealers. If you want a ridiculous deal, like thousands of other people apparently do, order on Black Friday and expect to wait a few weeks.

Hello everyone,

We would love to take a few minutes and hopefully explain a few things. During Black Friday, everyone around the world has the opportunity to partake in our legendary Black Friday sale. Due to this, we hang onto a majority of our stock in our factory/head office here in Canada as we can ship to Australia, Europe, and so on without issue. Once an item crosses the border into the US, it becomes an ITAR regulated product, which makes it very difficult for us to bring back to our head office and ship from there.

What we do to offset this is identifying the demand and then transfer the product where it needs to be. Once we know where an item needs to go, we pack it up and transfer it to the correct location, whether it's our warehouse in Washington State or European forwarding point. As we do deal with firearm-related parts, it leads to a bit of paperwork and permits, which can limit shipping in certain regards. We understand this is frustrating as it does increase lead time. However, our operations and shipping teams have been working around the clock. We will always try and provide you with the most up to date timeline. @swage2712, I would like to reach out to you personally, our sincerest apologies for your experience with us. We will 100% work on making sure that everyone understands the timeline and where your stock is located and the timeline for getting it to you. The only product that was oversold was our ACC chassis systems, which we are pushing our machines and equipment over time and have shipped as quickly as we can.

One of the things that come up during our Black Friday sale is the number of orders we receive and have to ship in the US. As our US location is in a smaller town, shipping service providers cannot handle the number of packages we have. We end up having to stage out in smaller pallets than we would like. We don't want to lie to our customers and say it will be out on Tuesday when we cannot guarantee that. We provide a timeline that most accurately reflects our current situation. Although our goal is 100% to beat that timeline, we want to be as realistic as we can for you. We understand that this can feel like we don't care, but the truth is we really do. I know how dedicated our team is, and we are always striving to move quicker and be better. We are shooters too, and we want you to Shoot Better. When issues come up, we don't bury our heads in the sand, Black Friday last year was less than a triumph and this year has gone a bit better, but we still have lots of areas to improve (the website crashing being the biggest black mark).

All of the feedback provided in this post is invaluable, and we will be taking this very seriously. We are here for the community; we will get you the product you purchased at the price you paid as quickly as we can. We have internal goals we are looking to exceed, and we will always improve. We can always be reached through our support portal on our website. We are always here in e-mail, our support team has been working 12 - 14 hours six days a week answering e-mails until we get every question answered. We do get a lot of e-mails, but our goal is we don't leave the office until everyone is responded too. Also, our apologies for the phone number being missed. In our mad panic during the sale, we missed putting it back up. For the record, it is 1-604-393-0800 Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 PM PST.
 
Tomorrow if Friday...can we have another sale on 300WM 3.850 mags for $33? I'll take 10 if you do :)

MDT rocks! There's a reason so many people bought their stuff. They could have just shut down orders when they got a bunch. I truly believe that they want to help shooters. Them selling all of this stuff at a steep discount, in large quantities, can't be as helpful to their bottom line as selling stuff at full price. They make top tier stuff and they're good people.

Last year I ordered several metal mags. It took a couple months to get them delivered. They were still well worth it. The experience caused me to come back again this year to but more mags. I lucked out and got them within about a week.
 
In retrospect, I knew about the border issues and assumed the shipment crossed and they were working through those orders. @MDT_OFFICIAL if you could jump on and let us know that the truck has arrived tomorrow and shipping has started a lot of us will be overjoyed at the live update.

Thanks for giving us the update. Not sure many companies outside this community gives this kind of attention.

The truck left around 8 AM from our head office and is in queue to be cleared. Our shipping team in the US is revved up and ready to go. I hear they are buying RedBull in mass quantities and loading up on these meat pies from this little place up the road. They are ready to go and will be putting in all the hours to get as much as they can done.

No, not over a magazine. Maybe it was the misrepresented lead times.....or maybe the disinterested person who answered the phone and didn't even bother looking up my order. Or maybe it was his vague answers to my questions about my order. I can see that MDT is one of the untouchables. Just like GAP on the old Hide before Scout. I vote with my wallet and will definitely keep this experience in the back of my mind when making future purchasing decisions. The $25 I saved doesn't move the needle for me. That wasn't what motivated my purchase. The item was meant as a Christmas gift for a shooting buddy and wont be here until the end of January according to the individual who answered the phone. But, but, but I saved $25 bucks.

The website clearly stated up to 8 weeks lead time.
Fuck if you need the 50 dollars to buy a" Right Now "mag let me know.
Ill start a go fund me page for you.

Members here can smell bullshit from a mile away. And hit it.
As for voting with you wallet . That vote was cancelled by 5 illegal aliens that bought 3 acc chassis 4 butt stocks and 7 weight kits.
