That looks really good! Just using sponges?
Did some base coats with several colora to change the background from black and have tonal variations. The did some sponge on top of that. Finally a very light diffuse spray of green to knock the sponged colors back and some sponged highlights on top of that. Lots of layers. Still need to clear coat.

You could make your own for $3 or less. Go to the hobby store and purchase the stick on padding in the thickness you want. Trace, cut, stick... done.

My two Tikkas:
7mm Rem Mag, pillar bedded with a ss recoil lug (I know there's no recoil pad in that picture, it has one now) topped with a vortex viper HS-T

I love these Tikkas! As long as I do my part, they shoot so well.

My KRG bravo just came in the mail today.. I'm waiting on a yodave trigger spring, do I need to remove the whole action again to install the spring? No idea when the spring will be here and I'm anxious to mount this new chassis up

Yes. You most likely won't be able to install the spring with it inside the action.

Yeah, you'll have to remove the action from the chassis to replace the spring, but it's really easy to do, so I wouldn't wait to put it in there just because of that, if it were me :)

DO remember to tighter that trigger back to action with enough force, and when you do change the trigger, do check that safety does work and do the safety test, cock the action and do a small dropping test.
Bounce the buttbad to the floor with small amount of power and check that the trigger is not fired.
If it does do so, you must tighten the trigger tension.
I would recon you to look this video, since you do not know that you are doing.

What "AICS" type magazine (not CTR) are you using with your Tikka 223 in a KRG Bravo stock? I just put mine together and with a MDT plastic 223 mag - the mag does not fit tight enough. Before I start adjusting the Bravo forearm or trigger guard - wanted to get feedback.

I got my Factory CTR down to 1.5 lbs with the stock spring.

Have a Yo Dave for sale and will ship it for cost if anyone needs one and doesn’t want to wait.

Bought a t3x 7mag for hunting and probably won’t use the spring in that one either.

just let me know.

What is the weight as it sits?

Does a tikka t3x ctr in 6.5 creedmoor 24" barrell really weigh 8.8 lbs? I swear it weighs less

Got my T3X Lite back in the painted stock and the SWFA scope mounted. This will be my white tail deer hunting rifle this coming fall.

I’m happy with the stock. I went with Mesa Precision because it was one of the lighter weight options (mine was dead-on 29 oz), and I like the size of the grip. It’s made by AG Composites and then inletted and finished by Mesa, so I was confident that it would be a solid product given AG’s good reputation. Initial impressions did not disappoint.
