Why not? They are getting paid. Not one .gov job has had to sign up for unemployment. They either stay home and get paid as non essentials or they telework.
Trump has to put these people on the spot so that they make preponderous claims.

Do you HONESTLY think that his system of supporters would have allowed him to say any of this without at the very least, having some say in what he's talking about? How about his mentioning of the virus in his State of the Union address? Maybe some of his information was tainted by WHO early on? The WHO reported on Jan 14th claiming there was "no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission." Could that report really have been the cause of the spread of the virus around the world? ABSOLUTELY. What about President Trump closing travel from China VERY EARLY on, then when Europe showed massive numbers, he shut down travel from Europe? My God people, he was acting on information that was given to him. He's not the great Gambezi, he can't see into the future, he gets his information from "respected" people.
His ratings are going up. He's getting a 60% approval rating on how he's handling the situation. I doubt is Jesus Christ could get better results from the Demwits in this country.

Trump is the best leader in modern history. What he has accomplished in spite of his deep state opposition is nothing short of a miracle. Some of these accomplishments will set America back on the right track for many years to come (appointing judges that are not radical, fixing trade imbalances). I've watched many lifelong dem voters finally wake up and realize their party is hellbent on communism and these voters are now big Trump supporters.
But after Trump's second term, we should be very concerned. Trump is merely a speedbump to the communists agenda...they will keep working and if we get too cozy and go back to not paying attention combined with electing more RINOs...we are fucked.

I hoped Trump would have stood by his original statement that this would pass us by and we will get through this. The media tore him up but that statement was/is the truth. Trump keeps making the same mistakes over and over again by surrounding himself with swamp creatures. This Corona Virus panel he has is nothing but a bunch of globalists. Fauci has been nothing but destructive to this nation and Trump stands beside him and supports him. He would be better off not taking the advice of anyone that has ever served under any President (Fauci, Barr, etc).
I was a strong Trump supporter, but this shutdown of the nation has really lowered my support. The multi trillion dollar bill he signed is a disgrace. Had he listened to his gut the bill would never had to be considered. I still support the man as he has fully exposed the corruption in our country's media and politicians. I just think that the handling of this virus has been a mistake. He should have followed his instincts. Maybe he still will.

Trump is by far the greatest President in the last 50 plus years, maybe ever. I think this will be his finest moment first getting us past the virus, then getting the economy back. Later he will win re-election, and yes it's fucking important that he does. Then we will have more conservative justices at all levels of the courts including the supreme court. Anyone who votes against Trump hates America and all she stands for!
