Its $27...there’s better options in the $50-$90 range but its a step up from a beach towel.

Midwayusa Mat here to. Think mine is the pro model. Got for $40-$50 a few years ago. They only made 2 mats then. I see they make several others now. But I love mine and use often

Edit: mine has just the right amount of pad under it. Also has a sticky/tacky material where your elbows are. Which I really like

I collected and compared data on a bunch of different shooting mats about 8 months ago. I cannot attach a spreadsheet so I have Zipped it and have attached that file. I have also attached a PDF of the spreadsheet to give you an overview of what is in the spreadsheet. I hope this gives you more insight.

I also agree with others here, the Midway is a good option. I have a Crosstac Recon but it does not fit your economical request.

dirt it it will cost you nothing , its always there you can depend on it its never going to bunch up or walk away on you sometimes you find it with soft fluffy green stuff on it like a grass like substance growing out of it . It will not get too hot in direct sun light with that grass stuff on it , also do beware of little red ants they will love you long time and not in a way that will make you happy .

I have the pro version but besides the bipod straps I really don’t know what’s different

I really like my midway mat it's comfortable to shoot off of even when there's little rocks and stuff underneath. Highly recommend it.

I've been using a Midway pro for a few years and its held up awesome. The bipod straps work well for consistent loading of the gun. Will probably grab a TAB shooting mat at some point to have an ultra compact option for throwing in a pack.

Honestly, i use a foam camping mat, but then I'm a broke bitch lol. But hey, it works, and its free.

I won a local match shooting off a scrap of rubber roofing. The guys with serious setups were all scratching their heads until we started shooting, lol.

I like the waterproof bottom when it's when soaked outside. Plenty of padding which is nice when you're shooting a lot on gravel or hard/rough surfaces.

Not that expensive when you combine a case and shooting mat🤔
Yea its a great price for US made gear.

Midway shit is garbage. Every soft good I have owned from them over the last 20 years has failed. its all cheap Chinese rip of shit with garbage zipers and terrible stitching to go along with shitty ass thin nylon instead of heavier cordova.

A little late for me to learn at this point since I have already bought the cheap shit!!! Next time respond a little sooner😉🤣

I tend to agree with @CrabsandFootball about the construction/quality. In my first post, I said it was a step above a beach towel. That being said I’ve been using the first gen mat for about 15 years now, it hasn’t failed yet.

I still have the first gen matt as well and its better than the bags/pouches. Granted I dont use it alot but their stuff was made nicer way back in the day.
