On a 14 by 30 mile island with 3.5-4 million people at the time, my parents let my older sister(middle school) take me to the last movie on a Friday night, take the last mrt(subway) home and not have to worry about anything and this was before cell phones. There were also many times where my parents let me take the public bus myself. You don't mess around in Singapore.

Pol Espargaro on his way to His and KTM's first ever Pole Position in the Premier Class of MotoGP. KTM had their first win last week by Brad Binder in his 3rd GP race now their 1st Pole..... this is only the 4th year they've been racing in the Premier Class. Amazing accomplishment for any manufacturer considering the level of competition.

Performance wise these GP bikes are 300-350hp and weight about 350lbs w/o the rider who's typically 150-175lbs. Top speed on the fastest track is near 220mph.

HP is always speculative, and TQ can be the real advantage giving the drive off the corner for more top speed like Ducati. The pair of 2019 KTM RC16's for sale are shown at 255+hp though numerous commentators around MotoGP this season have been mentioning the 300-350hp levels this year. The electronics have enough sophistication now to actually support that level of power output which allows a human to pilot them. I'd bet they've obtain 300+ at this point, which creates staggering horsepower to weight numbers.

Ok Lah. Lived between Singspore and Batam, from 91 to 96. Went to school on Batam until 94/95, then went UWC for 1st year/6th grade. Singspore was awesome, cleanest plsce I have ever been. The boarding houses at UWC used to let us go to Orchard Rd. Or Sentosa every weekend. Batam was a shithole and still is.

Do you work for KTM?

I was fortunate to be in a non-compensated advisory position (casual) with a close friend who I raced off-road with in the early-mid 80's when he was the US Maico importer and then became a Yamaha and one of the early US KTM dealers. His riding ability and business practices made him well respected within the ranks of KTM USA's management. Internally KTM is truly an awesome company that is seriously competition driven, the key people talk the talk and definitely can walk the walk. Being able to be around people like that at dealer meetings and new model testing events was without a doubt the best times of my life.
