I need some help with identifying a good ring/single mount setup for my new CZ 457 Varmint MTR, given the MTR does not have an adjustable cheek weld. I have a Vortex Cantilever Mount on my Bergara B14 HMR 6.5 Creedmoor. However, I have concerns about the proper MOA for a Pic rail or single mount. I’d like to keep investment under $200, if possible. As always, I want to thank all contributors in advance for your wisdom

You could do a area419 rail adapter, comes in 15 or 30 Moa depending on how far you plan on pushing out and give some extra space forward to let you get the optic position dialed. You can do seekins rings that are pretty much bomb proof, the combo of the two will put you a little over your budget goal but you will be set for the life of the rifle.

My 2 cents, I shoot BR and sometimes when I'm practicing I happen to be next to a CF shooter. If that happens I have to wear my muffs. For that reason I use 1.5" or high rings. With lower rings my muffs contact the butt stock and it's hard to get on the scope properly.

I appreciate your comment. I was wrestling with which rings I should buy, and how high. Best

I really like the Seekins rings, how high are they? I'm just not sure with this Rimfire setup. Thanks

I ordered a DIP today. 25 MOA. Just to have ring options. I agree on the height for the muffs. Lows can really pose problems.
