Lol...used to come home from work drunk and watch the Spanish channels for that same reason...lol.
7 years old with my 308. Hit 2 for 5 at 600yds. Wind was blowing 5-15mph at 3 o'clock. 1 solid hit and nicked the edge of plate at 9:30'ish he said it moved so it counts. He was proud as could be.

Bought our turkeys this morning. Kid at the checkout commented on buying two. I said, "Yeah, we have 23 friends and family coming from all over the southeast." He asked, "Aren't you worried about the virus?" I replied, "What virus?" End of conversation.
I would have loved to have been the next person in line....
European Mount. My dad, brother, and I have a walk of European bucks we started a few years ago. I’ll add him to that. Hopefully brother and dad get their bucks this year so we can all add one to it.

Several excellent books about the invasion of Tarawa including "One Square Mile of Hell", 76 Hours & Bloody Tarawa among a few. There is a new trilogy on the battle that I have yet to read by James F Dwyer but plan to. Three days of savage fighting with 4 MOH's awarded of which 3 were posthumously. Two from Texas and one from New Mexico.
