I think we all struggle in one way or another in this life. Definitely confess about my weak faith. Been praying to the Lord to strengthen my faith in Him.
2Corinthians 12:7-10 To keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I'll be 60 in February and yes, I am getting older.
My BIL had an unmatched kidney transplant from his wife. I don't know a lot about the procedure, but it sounds like he could use a lot of prayer. His wife is doing well.
John 3:4-7 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!”
Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again’.
I'm waiting for a kidney myself, so I know how difficult it can be. I will pray for him and his wife. May God Bless him.

If y’all can kindly keep my wife and I in your prayers, I’d greatly appreciate it. We just had our retrieval day with IVF, and so far 4, maybe 5 eggs have fertilized. God willing, we implant Wednesday, and after over 2 years, we will finally be pregnant.
1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him.
Prayers sent. My wife went through this two years ago. She was a juvenile diabetic. She has since received a pancreases and kidney transplant and is enjoying life again with our kids.
Doing better but still have a good bit of numbness and swelling. Hopefully it gets better by the time I get the stitches out on the 22nd.

Prayers for my grandmother, she is terminal with inoperable stomach cancer, has had some chemo, mom and sisters are taking care of her, but are surprised she’s made it this long. Has good and bad days depending on medication, has difficulty with appetite.
She’s one of two grandmothers I have left, I’ve been lucky enough to know all my great grandparents. My boys never had that chance.

Not sure but I may have Covid. As everyone knows, I went into the hospital for outpatient surgery. Came out and 2 days later (Dec 4), I started feeling bad. Sore throat, a cough, and a stomach ache. I have since added a dull headache and fever. The fever runs from 99.2 to 99.5. I feel like I've been run over by a truck and I've had night time muscle cramps. Last night seemed like I was getting worse, including a little bit of being out of breath after climbing a flight of steps. I'll be calling my doctor to see if I can get a Covid test tomorrow.
Yes, it's been going on for more than a week. I'm bullheaded and didn't think about it until my wife said she was going to visit my son and grandson. That got me to thinking and I confessed ALL of my symptoms to my wife.
Prayers that's it's just the flu. I mean after all, I had to go to the hospital in order to get sick. Makes sense, doesn't it?

I read all of these prayer concerns, and i see so much worry, and pain. I pray for God to calm our hearts and minds. I pray for strength to those in need. I pray for God to guide the doctors to make wise decisions. Prayers lifted for the families.
I will pray that it is neither COVID, nor the flu but that you will recover without any further detriment to your health. A couple of years ago when the swine flu was rampant under Obama who did nothing I had both H1N1 and Type A flu at the same time, spent a week and a half in the ICU, and flatlined three times for up to four minutes; a young girl aged 27 in the room next to me had the same and died four days in. Flatlining removed all doubt for me that there is an eternal life and boosted my prayer life. I am now not just a military veteran but a prayer warrior and active member of "Band of Brothers" our church's men's group.
Remember Isaiah 57:17 when it comes to illness "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; ..."
In regards to the news these days that have so many depressed, and worried about the future, read Proverbs 26:23-28:
23 like a coating of silver dross on earthenware
are fervent lips with an evil heart.
24Enemies disguise themselves with their lips,
but in their hearts they harbor deceit.
25Though their speech is charming, do not believe them,
for seven abominations fill their hearts.
26Their malice may be concealed by deception,

if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.
28A lying tongue hates those it hurts,
and a flattering mouth works ruin.
God is still in control and His will will be done!

Rapid testing indicated negative for Covid but they said that the rapid test has a high incidence of false negatives. However, they seemed to be worried that this occurred right after having vascular surgery. So I'm to see my PCP and have blood cultures drawn tomorrow. Not sure what they are looking for in the blood work, but I guess I'll know soon enough.

I will continue to pray for good lab results, and for the technicians, and the doctor to be guided by the Holy Spirit, and for the protection and blessings of the Lord to be upon you and your family.
I haven’t prayed since I was little kid but I’ll give a round of prayers tonight for everyone who needs it on the hide. Best wishes to the whole crew of miscreants who call the hide home.
I feel like the hide is a big family. I don't participate in any other social media platform but the hide does have a strange sense of home. We may all come from different backgrounds, different generations, different states and countries but here we share a common ground in our defense of the 2nd Amendment and our love for freedom.

Still pretty rough. Went to my PCP and had blood cultures drawn. Stomach is still pretty painful. I hope to hear sometime tomorrow about my regular Covid test. Blood culture tests may be back by Friday. I still don't understand why the blood culture test. It has something to do with my vascular surgery, but my PCP wasn't too talkative knowing that I could be positive for Covid. I can't blame him.

Wish I could ease your pain. I have lived with it my self in past years. My hand is stretched out to you in prayer. Coming at you right now . I may be in Montana but prayer has no boundary or millage limitations. It is faster than light speed......
This is an awesome idea fella. Anyway I’m not the kind to ask for help but please say a word or two for me in your prayers. The power of prayer is awesome. I’m currently on day 1 of what I’m afraid is going to be a long hard road to sobriety.

Continuing to pray. The blood culture tests can cover many issues that can be contributing factors but likely the primary reason would be that they want to make sure there is no infection as the result of surgery. It just means your doctors are doing their due diligence to nip anything than can cause real harm if unchecked in the bud. Praying for wisdom for the doctors, compassion from all other medical professionals, protection and healing for you, and peace of mind and the assurance of the Lord:

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "
