If you’re right handed, you’d want your bipods to be mounted on the left side so you can grip em with your support hand. ...or load them while shooting from a frame.
😂

Valid point. I’ll switch it over and report how it works 😂

Did anyone see the AX the nightforce posted in instagram today. It was an OD AX with an FDE Mlok forearm and a fulll ength top pic rail on top. WOuld like more info if someone is making mlok forearms for it yet. On closer look it appears to be an ASR. Got my
Hopes up for nothing.... least we fired Gus

That's a couple years old at least. When they were testing the MLOK forend with RRS Dovetail

You'll just have to wait for the AXSR forends to do the same

that’s definitely an AXMC with the ASR forend. My guess is it’s one of the team AI guys rifles.

That is my rifle above with Kevin shooting it. The M-lok ASR rail will never be sold as a part alone. MDT M-Lok weights with the holes drilled out and tapped metric LH thread work perfect on the Key Slot pattern. M-Lok is NO WHERE NEAR AS A STRONG as Key Slot and it is a bitch to attach rails and accessories. The Key Slot AXSR rails are backwards compatible with the AX series both long and short action but I am unsure if they are available separately yet.

This is true. Key-slot is superior to MLOK and KeyMod. Once you understand the differences, you’ll wish you had Key-slot on everything. The back side is tapered, so once you tighten the screw it literally cannot slip. It also tightens flush to the inside of the handguard, no protrusions.

How you like that accutac bipod?

I like it a lot actually. If not for winning it at a Guardian match, I probably wouldn't have bought one for lack of knowledge on their products. In fact, I've started using it at PRS matches. It's taller and gets the AX off the ground without having to extend the legs, and if extension is needed they pull out quick. It also has the CAL feature which my PSR does not. I still use the PSR in team matches for its smaller size and compactness.

I'm waiting on two to arrive to test out. I have been running a br4 accutac for a couple weeks now and have been highly impressed so interested to see how these others stack up

Yes the BR4 looks about perfect as an all-around. Mine is the SR5, which is a little longer. I was worried about the length, but then I realized I usually run the PSR out a few notches to get off my belly...this is about the same as the Accutac SR5 fully collapsed.

Sweet yea the br4 is too short so I got a sr5 coming and a pc-5

^^^ True, I took off the RRS arca plate and went back to the plastic, or nothing at all when using the plate... They don't work well together when jammed all the way back. ^^

For him to use that plate properly, he would have take off that RRS Aux Plate and not use the plastic hand guard at all (. As I wouldn't run it on the RRS plate as it would raiser the rifle a lot higher than it needs to be. As if its not high enough already with the AX platforms.

I've tried the plate on multiple platfroms, not just AI's. I didn't see any add in stability. The one thing it will do is, keep your rifle upright/ leveled while manipulating the bolt when shooting off a prop.

hey guys, need some help identifying the handguard on the left. I have circled the length differences. The one on the right is off of my AI AICS post14 chassis, but i tried buying a shorter handguard and received the one on the left that dont match up for sh*t. Any help identifying it (so i can sell) is greatly appreciated. Even better would be is sum1 is looking to sell a drk earth 13" handguard. =THANKS in advance.
