BILL NUMBER: S314

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Now I know why Cuomo wants to reopen. They need the money it would take to start a database to keep track of how many bullets I want to buy for my bolt action .22long rifle, .223, .224 Valkyrie, 22 Nosler, 22 Creed, 6 Creed, 6.5 Creed, 6.5x47, 450 Bushmaster, 350 Legend and .308 rifles because they can all be chambered in semi-auto "assault" weapons.

And are these 308 bullets for a assault weapon sir?
No they are not. The weapon is a bold action.

AR10s have a bolt their action is to cycle 😁(Smiles in fuck your made up terms)

You guys are missing the other words in there: "authorized weapon" and "capacity" and thereby missing the intent of the verbiage.
Somewhere else is a bill that will define what firearms are authorized. This will then be used to determine the maximum purchase quantity of your (unauthorized) black rifle. This also allows them to determine the mag capacity of the "authorized weapon". Whatever that mag capacity they determine is, multiply it by 2. That's what you get for 120 days - 4 months, which will probably have to go through a state agency or the ATF in the same fashion as a firearm purchase (see HR127, below). My money says the mag capacity will be something less than what they call the lowest quantity that qualifies as "high capacity mags". The default action is that this then causes the average user to cycle through their current stash and then be starved out.

This also means that since there are authorized weapons being defined, anything else is by default defined as not authorized. This definition could be used for other actions in the future. This bill is not insignificant. It effectively disarms the NY populace over a long period of time through choking off the supply and shuts down the firearms industry in NY by and large.

If you combine this with these two proposed FEDERAL bills it gets very constrictive in NY:

HR127: To provide for the licensing of firearms and ammunition and the registration of firearms and to prohibit the possession of certain ammunition.
  • IOW, you must be federally licensed to own firearms and licensed to own only approved ammunition. Eventually everyone that needs ammunition will have to get a license and then be in the database, and certain calibers could potentially be outlawed through simply not being on the approved list, along with ammunition types (green tip, etc) - i.e., if it isn't in, its out.

HR130: To require the safe storage of firearms and ammunition, and to require the investigation of reports of improper storage of firearms or ammunition.
  • Not being in compliance would be a violation of federal law and possibly result in penalties. If HR127 is passed it will probably result in a revoking of a persons license to own firearms.
