It's going to depend on what you're doing.
Generally, a DMR gun will be used by someone that is part of a larger element that will need to move with them and/or relocate to a superior shooting location to then displace to another, or rejoin the element. That's a lot of moving around with at times, a slung rifle due to obstacles, terrain or the fact that you need to climb up something or run somewhere.
I hate bungee type slings for this purpose for exactly this reason; they sound great on paper, until you have to stow your rifle and move with it as it'll bounce around and move, and no matter how tight you get it, the bungee negates it. The problems outweigh the benefit of being able to use the bungee as counter tension for a shooting position.
Most shooting slings are designed around the actual shooting aspect (maybe 20% of your time) as opposed to all the shit going on the other 80%.
You can do everything with a correctly set up VTAC or BFG 2 point sling.
