Reminds me of the game porrasturvat (stair dismount). Rekkasturvat (truck dismount) was another good one. They are both from the early '00s.

If your premise is correct, and I don't doubt it, then the puppeteers would not want anything to happen to him either. He's the one person that can be controlled easier than the rest of the turds.
I don't think either one of them are calling the shots or for that matter are remotely intelligent enough to do so. Joe was at least sharp enough in the alarmingly not so distant past, to pull off a good act, but even those days are long gone. Even more alarming is the fact, on that particular matter is that press and public continue ignoring it.
