Been farming for 40 years and crp has always been around for better or worse. I have some wetlands in crp and guess what that land is good for, wetlands. I have pasture in crp and guess what that land is good for, pasture. I produce more crops and cattle today than I did just 10 years ago much less 30-40 years ago off the same acreage. Output of us farmers continues to rise each year because of better technology and management. Do I wish the government would stay out of my business, yes, but they are and we have to play the hand we’re dealt. We feed the world with food and agricultural innovations, why would a nation give up such a big tool that’s used to control other nations.

I've been trying to build a pool for a customer in Austin since early fall when I applied for a permit. Here it is six months later and they still haven't 'approved' the permit. We've dotted every i, crossed every T, sometimes repeatedly, submitted drawings, engineer's reports, surveys, tree surveys, re designed the pool to make sure there are no run off and slope issues, etc, etc, and they keep stalling us.
It's always some vague, BS response to when the fuck can we get a permit, two weeks, two weeks. Just when we thought they have run out of excuses you know what the City said? One of the people on the final review board is out on maternity leave and they don't know when she'll be back in the office. WTF??
It's political. It's obvious the commie, NWO globalist fuckstains that run Austin don't want small businesses to stay in business and stay open. There's also 'shortage' of chlorine now which is required in most pools. Next, there will be water shortage and filling pools will be outlawed.

People were awakened and pissed off with the first gas price hike in the 70's, resulting in gas shortages, lines at the pumps and 55mph. speed limits. All created by OPEC and the big oil companies. Then mandatory insurance coverage for drivers and seat belt laws, but guess who is paying those prices and abiding by those laws now.
The majority of the public will complain and then bend down and take whatever is foisted on them.

I'm still very optimistic, the Military were tracking all web traffic during the election (1 of Space Force's functions) and this is supposedly the real map prior to the manipulation of voting results by the Deep State minions.
The audits are starting to happen,to show the people the fraud that has taken place,which will mean the end of the Joe puppet show, the Military will step in and can use the real data or oversee a new election under Military control.

This is not true. Famines are caused by food shortages. Food shortages are caused by political decisions, weather, and plant disease. And each falls on people differently depending on their food choices and whether there is the ability to transport food from other areas.
The Irish Famine was caused by the potato blight. Most of the Irish raised potatoes and had a cow. And most of them were crowded on small sharecropping or crofters farms. The Irish population grew greatly during the adoption of the potato over other crops and other food sources. Instead of needing 10 acres per person of crops, they needed less than an half an acre. Many commenters said that there were too many people on too small of land and this was a disaster waiting to happen.
When the blight hit, the potatoes were nearing maturity right when food stores were low. Furthermore, there were no other food sources being grown. Mature crops died in a week. A Week. It happened suddenly for a rural population already living on the edge. And the blight made it impossible to raise potatoes for years. There were too many people. Period.
An adult working outside needs 2700 to 4000 calories a day. WIth no carbs, an adult will lose 5-10 pounds a week and will be unable to work in three weeks and dead in 5 weeks.
The potato famine happened so fast that it became a time and space problem. There were no railroads, no large ports, no telegraph, and the horse based transport was also starving.
The only way to have staved this off was to mandate that land only have x% potatoes with the rest being other crops.

Yeah. I disproved the stop working in 3 weeks, dead in 5 part. I went from 210 lbs. to my high school weight of 168 in 45 days when a gf and I broke up in the 90's.
I threw myself into my work which was brutally hard physically and realized I had quit eating. Plus, I was working out when I got home, running a speed bag and push-ups, sit ups. I went from a beer gut to ripped abs and a 3% body fat.
I lost some muscle but could work longer. I was much lighter, quicker and healthier than before the break up.
I think you might not understand what life was actually like for those poor people.
The carbs from the Potatoes were the primary caloric intake, there was nothing to replace them.
Animal proteins was scarce and expensive, animals were costly to raise and there were not nearly enough of them to replace the food supply.
Hunting was not viable after the first month as everything was eaten.

If that was to collapse and the primary nutrition had to come from animal sources, most of the world would starve to death within a couple years.

Try seeing how many cows and chickens you can raise when it's just whatever they can graze on in the fields and nothing else. You won't get eggs for 3 to 4 months in the winter, you won't support even half the farm animal density we have now).
You can forget your fantasies of hunting for a long term lifestyle, the animal populations will be near exterminated by end of year 1 of the global famine.

I agree with what you are saying in the context you wrote it in. The population of the world is far to dense to survive without ranching and/or agriculture. These two things are what allowed the human population to grow to the numbers there are now. It has been a blessing and a curse. There arent enough wild plants and animals to sustain even a small percentage of the population very long.

I never liked that map. It is part of the course work out of an ArcGIS lesson plan published by ESRI. The lesson is to show how visual representation can be intentionally deceiving.
Here are a couple of more to illustrate my disdain.
The first is weighted by percentage of votes in each county from the 2016 Election. The second is a GIF someone put together that weights counties by their population total. I do not like that one either. The counter narrative statement that "Land does not vote. People do." is again an example of visual manipulation of data to support a specific narrative. Each representation is equally deceiving in that they disregard the electoral college votes.

Then as you go up the ladder, they have the full protection of the police and military who they control the pay of.
Even the most "basic" of the Elites have their ocean going escape ships, fortified, guarded survival compounds on multiple continents and transportation on standby. They have the money to do the kind of survival preparations most could only dream of.
You can answer that question by studying the "farmers" in America... This is not a critical statement... Look at the amount of resources farmers use. The tractors keep getting bigger and bigger (more expensive). Fuel, electricity, water are consumed in vast amounts in order to grow a vegetable crop. Look at transportation of a crop to a processor and then on to a consumer warehouse... We have added a lot of "middle men" in that food chain.... Lastly, look at the Government regulations that have been implemented over the past 100 years...
Gone are the days of the old farmer with an International tractor, 20 acres of land and a fruit and vegetable stand out on the main road.
One flip of a switch (electricity, fuel, Internet, etc) and your local grocery store will be cleaned out in 3 days... Maybe less.
I think if shit really hit the fan, that giant yacht (radar?) or having a huge security force is just going to draw attention. And those security dudes if “civilization” is in shambles, might look at the rich soft client and see another path for him lol

Most have no solar, or not enough to run systems if it can’t spin the mains or gen sets, if it can’t find safe harbor and TONS of diesel, it’s only going to make fresh water as long as it has power, after that’s is a immobile anchored target that need constant supplies run to it on its ribs, I’m around a good amount of yachts, I have yet to see one that has armored runabouts.

Most any plan has weaknesses and such, but you can probably be safe to assume that for folks who can afford to toss a billion dollars towards their personal security and survival plan, probably have paid at least a few pretty smart people to prepare for many possible contingencies.

The other factor would be if you’re going to try to go inland to dodge storms, presuming the bridges work, many fixed bridges are about 50’, so a mast over 50 makes things limited, plus draft issues on the big mono hulls
The issue with the elites is their lifestyle, if things got less civil they are just big awkward money bags, easily spotted from a mile away. And if money has no value, think it’s going to be a gut check for their security, they they are always going to be having people take shots at them, not sure how the ROI on that works in a lawless and bankless society
