Cartel highjack two tractor trailers loaded with over 7M rounds of ammunition bound for San Antonio

They probably used the trucks gps signal to track it themselves.

You mean the CDMA or GSM transmission going out of the tracker into the cell network?

Because the only thing that can transmit GPS signals (that are worth a shit) are the satellites in the DoD GPS constellation.

Explain how
I have no idea as to the actual details. I've no experience with USN steer by wire, i've only read about it.

RF hacks are pretty common. I do know about SCADA systems. And, I certainly wouldn't detail anything in a public forum. Why enable bad people?

I'm saying it's likely an inside job. If you know the specifics on the transmitter, you should be able to track them.

GPS signals can be spoofed by stronger signals. See my post above re the UTA student's GPS hack. I don't know exactly what (signals) was compromised or how the data was delivered.

Depending on the emission type, Newton's Inverse Square Law and The Capture Effect may be in play.

You said GPS hacks are common. I asked you to explain.

Your knowledge of SCADA systems (I know what they are too) and lack of knowledge about USN ship control systems (something I know a little bit about) are irrelevant to the question re GPS "hacks"

There is a significant amount of very specific data contained in GPS transmissions coming from the constellation. In order to spoof them you have to have some significant inside knowledge of that data, like what it is, how is it synchronized and encoded, etc, then build the hardware to interfere with it.

If you think DoD hasn't thought about that, and that joe blow amateur or EE college student can "hack" that data transmission from their house......LOL

Yeah, encryption is in play. You did read the piece I cited about the UTA students and, that Iran used their published data to capture one of our UAVs right ?

I'm not claiming any experience in GPS work. I have some understanding of how the systems work. And, that's from reading.

This is also from reading..

Something like this:

I think you can buy them for around $75?

They pulled the devices out and stuck them on a pair of donkeys

I remember in the 80's when I was first learning TexMex, I asked a laborer what pendejo meant. He said it mean stupid, a useless dumbass. Then he said it was like every week when Mr. T and the A Team would shoot and shoot and never once hit anything.

When i was like 17 i hired on with a house building company fresh outta school. They put me out with a crew of all mexican dudes pouring foundations. For about a week they kept calling me hands in the pockets until i got settled in and started to work for real. They embarassed me into being a man lol. Also they taught me alot of the launguage which has helped me my entire life.

I know a group of guys that could get that shipment back. They arent easy to find.... but for the right price they will come up with a wacky scheme that will return the ammo and put the cartels in jail probably forever. It is gonna be pretty dangerous because mr t is getting pretty old and its dangerous to knock him out these days cause the drugs mess with his other meds. Howling mad is pretty blind... and hannibal who died exclaiming i planned this, i planned it all somehow.

Oh yeah, face.... this is gonna work, sending grandpa in to hit on women a quarter his age as a distraction. Like his only talent was screwing every chick and now.... frankly he seems like a liability.
