I have always looked at Cnn out of curiosity to see what they are trying to push. I noticed this article on Lake Meade which feeds the Hoover damn. https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/16/us/lake-mead-colorado-river-water-shortage/index.html

Now the writer of this article mentions "Climate Change" soo many times if it were a drinking game you would be passed out on the floor pissing your pants covered in vomit.

What they fail to mention is the greatly increased use by humans.

So it is already know that people in the area are using the river past its capacity, I wonder if any of it is being wasted...

So don't know where these Climate Change types get their information from but I think I have pushed more meaningful things out my ass and flushed them down the toilet. Now, I am not doubting there is a drought currently. They do happen, but in reference to the original article from Cnn which was posted today, there is not any mention of the waste, over usage, the agricultural aspect and population growth. Which are the real factors. California was literally diverting water to a lake that didn't naturally exist and is not nearly as important keeping the reservoir at decent levels.

The narrative is fossil fuels are bad, causing the Global temperatures to rise, green house gases are bad. Which completely ignores the root causes of the actual problem.

Fucking BULLSHIT!

This isn't the only example of pushing some BS.

Recently Illinois governor passed a law to prevent discrimination of hair styles as if there is any in schools.

Of course no one wants kids to be discriminated against all because the have different hair styles based on their race.

Not one article mentioned that the school that had the policy was all black. You had to dig deeper to find which school discriminated against him and their statistic.

But of course, the democrats have to pass a law and pat themselves on the back for fighting rasicm and discrimination based on race in great state of Illinois.

Just bought two lots about 500' from the bay, well behind the other $1 million homes "on the water". In 30 years I'll have an AWESOME water view.

well cut ca off and there would be less of a water shortage why every state sold water to california when they knew they would need it themselves well is stupid , all so Californians could have green grasses f that .

Claims of a water shortage are stupid. The only water that's lost is what goes into space with the astronauts.

Same with climate change. The 1st law of thermodynamics trumps their hockey stick graph.

Problem is twofold. People that live where there is no water have to get it from somewhere. In the 20th century it was dams. Then they grew the crap out of those places and the rivers can no longer keep up, simple.

Second problem is a place like Florida. No mountains there so no dams. What to do... Tap the aquifer. Same problem Plenty of water for a time but then too many people move in and drain the aquifer.

Nothing new under the sun... Plenty of water on the planet but it's salty. Solution is to build more, and more efficient desalination plants.

As you said, the water is never lost and with desalination it just gets it's salt back when returned to the environment.

And people are like 50-60 percent water. Too many people equals less water available. And them there's all the bottled stuff. Warehouses full of it. It can't get back into nature in a plastic bottle.
