They have these kinds of propane heater switches all over the NJ Transit Hoboken Terminal and approaches to it. I saw them working (i.e. they light up nicely at night). I guess they didn't want to do "electric" heating when they were originally built. I guess gas switches were more reliable for some reason.

I know the comment was intended to be humorous but I have to reply...

I'm one of those dumb Cajuns from Louisiana. I'd rather them (#48) and those Texans (#28), Tennesseans (#35), and/or Kentuckians (#16) have my back than all those "smart" and well-educated people from #1 Massachusetts, #2 Connecticut, #3 New Jersey, etc. At least if I look over my shoulder I won't have to worry about them sticking a knife into it or if they are still there. Dumb-asses like that, probably dressed in rags and bare-foot stood with my ancestors and their friends at the Battle of New Orleans and gave the well-equipped, battle-hardened, and numerically superior British force a good ass-whupping. And I am confident they will do it again, without hesitation, should the need arise.

There is no way MA is number one if education is the actual metric being rated.

I’ve seen a lot of her vids posted here. She’s hot, but she poses too much. For a Rock Goddess I’ll take Lzzy Hale every time, she’s not as hot but she can make me blow the speakers out in my truck. Lzzy is a modern Janice, she gives no fucks when she’s lettin’ it go.

Another great female rock voice is Darby Mills from the Canadian band Headpins. Check them out on Youtube.

I agree.......Lizzy is a rocker............but this woman is smocking.........I don't, care if she can't sing............

I did not make that map.........
By boat it is 750 miles from Corpus Christi Tx to Contoy lighthouse on the NE point of the Yucatan, form there about 25 miles to Cancun. From Brownsville to the NW point of the Yucatan is 510 miles. I believe the location of the missing brain cells is debatable.

It’s almost like it’s all the red states telling the blue states to stay away or something.
Yeah, one of these days I’m going to have one that says:

”Get out of Texas while you still can!”

Alaska Is Big!
You could fit Texas into Alaska 2 times! One-fifth the size of the Lower 48, Alaska is bigger than Texas, California, and Montana combined! Alaska is also far-flung: 3.1 times wider (east to west) and 1.9 times taller (north to south) than Texas.

We are talking about the original map of Texas not as it is now.

But, Alaska wins by only 40 miles. Great cirle distance from Bownsville to Casper vs Ketchikan to Barrow.. I withdraw the statement. The problem with the map has to do with high latitudes and curvature of the earth and when printed the map appears bigger than it is.

Brownsville to Casper 1100 air miles.

Neither on of those would keep up with my TJ or go where it did. They look nice though.
I’m old and quit racing trucks off-road a long time ago. And the truggy we built with a 4BT and 52” tires caused me to cease chasing more off-road capability forever. It measured how stupid the driver was, not how capable it was.

It was a nice rig.

I like the g-wagen because I put 320,000 miles on it doing overland expeditions, rough terrain stuff in WY/MT/OR/CO/AK. In all that time I put in 1 water pump and a window regulator. Total.

I like the samurai because it’s a turbo diesel and gets 52mpg in town.

Looks like a Calmini 5in lift kit,
Used to have one in mine with 33/12.5x15's before we got carried away.

Also like the Zuk, have had them for over 20years & still enjoy them.
It’s a super strange getup. It’s a calmini shackle swap, but also has australian made lift leafs with extra weight capacity. Handles all the low range off-road stuff well.

I have 1” of body lift to clear my alternator and 4.5” of SUA lift on this setup.

My TJ is the one with headlights on, 33's short arm lift. Following my buddy Greg, long arm lift, 35's...he can't rock pilot for shit. I got though with no help, he needed a wench from another buddy. Ha!

You might find the lifted g-wagen with its factory triple locked setup on 34’s about that capable.

Yep that's the one, sounds almost the same as my old setup.
calmini shackle reversal with a 1in body lift & I had locally made springs (Aus)

What diesel swap are you running ?

Mine as of about 15years ago has a custom 5link coil front end & 4link coil rear with Toyota axles & 34/10.5r15 Simex JT2 K/plus tyres.
It also has a twincharged toyota 4agze petrol engine with hilux gearbox & twin transfer cases.

Not overly economical but is probably around 300hp so plenty of fun.

A Tj on 33's, 1/3 the price, and twice as capable. It's not a g-wagon, wasn't intended to be. Doors off in the winter actually being played with...unlike posing as, and trying to be an off road vehicle...enjoy the dirt roads you consider "off road".

Not sure where you got your g-wagen knowledge.

It’s a triple locked dual solid axle ladder framed truck under there lol. Extremely popular as a military off-road vehicle. Selected by MARSOC as their recon truck when a Jeep was for sure right there instead.

More than a capable rig off-road.

Bought it instead of a Rubicon when my buddies brand new rubicon crapped out both rear axle shafts with the most minor provocation possible...while shattering the factory locker.

Had to get a tow from a modded Cherokee to get off the trail. Before the engine exploded in the Cherokee too.
