Powder IN-STOCK thread

I mean. On one hand it weeds out the guys buying a multi year supply and helps spread the powder around to more people.

On the other $77 per pound is getting steep.

I agree, I will hold out for someone local to carry some, once you add shipping and hazmat on 1lb it just takes it out of the realm of affordable or convenient.

CCI 450 primers available at Brownells

Limit 2

Thanks, needed these for my 22GT build.

Code SAE gets you an extra $15 off......................FYI

Yeah I’m done with the midway 1 limit deal. Keep your varget and your h4350?? It’ll come around at other places. Fuck midway at this point but they ain’t gonna lose any sleep over it

I try to make the hazmat fee and shipping work in my favor. For example: I have a good Amy of rifle powders and and now just got 8 lbs of pistol powder from PV in one purchase

You gotta know when to fold

You can maybe wait for Bruno’s to have like 32 lbs of something or 20000 primers and stock up that way, but they never have what I want

Put up 32 lbs of N555 for fucks sake. Lol 😝

Was in there the other day, said he didn't know how much powder he would get or what types, and wasn't too hopeful. Said it wouldn't be for a few weeks.

He did randomly have a box of BR2 primers he sold me.

I suggest continuing to utilize the great resources of one another on here. Maybe easier said than done but I’ve made trades that mutually benefit both sides recently. 1# buys are out of desperation, as are 1k primer buys. If you have to, you have to but damn there’s a shit load of common interest folks on here that can help you out. If this is all too much, suck it up and stop whining. 🍻

Varget and IMR 4064 just came in stock at MidwayUSA. Only 1 per person though

Thats ok if its 8#

Inadvisable buying 8 unique lots of any powder for match use

Not even addressing price, those logistics are sh^*^

Or is it just my OCD?

Does the 1 lb limit help keep some cocksucker from buying up the entire stock and then reselling it on GunBroker at prison-rape prices?

And it probably cost you $100.
Only 38$, Now add in Tax, shipping, hazmat, round up, etc..... yep; 72 bucks total! But value to being able to build some rounds with my guns' favorite powder; priceless....

Brunos was selling them by the 20k.

I don't remember exactly. It was somewhere around $120 per 1k.

Edit. Guess they were asking $135/1k for BR-2's.

I think we bought 80,000 at about 8cent each. For cci450
I would do that. I have enough guys that shoot where we could split it up if need be. I would like the LRP BR2 for that though. I have about 4000 SRP and I only shoot LRP for 6.5cm and 6cm. If anyone sees a deal like that again please let me know.

I can swallow the hazmat for a brick of primers. But one or two pound limits on powder is a kick in the balls. I’m in a good spot right now. Wouldn’t mind some more Berger bullets but everything Iv wanted for the most part has been available the last few months.
