Anyone ever sent their GemPro250 in on warranty?

I have the GP 500. This is my 3rd one. They work great for about 2 yrs for me then I have to send them back in. The lifetime warranty has always worked. Keep your paperwork when you receive one. I have a new one on my shelf waiting for the current one to give up. It will go back for the...

How much to jump or jam 155gr amax in .308?

    I haven't shot the 155's. The 80gr Amax's in a .223 usually like to jump about .040".

    173 grain FMJBT M72 ball

173gr FMJBT, open base, lead was put in from the rear. They are a bit better than 147gr FMJBT bullets but not quality bullets like a Sierra. There is an issue with how well the base of the bullets were formed with the lead being swaged in from the rear and also, some of the jackets had...

2000MR+308+155 SMK Palma OCW test part Deux

My load is 155gr Noslers in front of 50.0gr MR-2000. Was a good node in my rifle, no pressure issues. I can't get any more in the GI cases though. Not sure how high I could go without pressure issues, the case is too full.

Major Velocity Uniformity Difference With Powder in 223

I've always had issues getting the .223 into the low SD numbers that I can get with my .308. I don't think I've ever had under 40fps max deviation with a .223. I think it has more to do with the recoil impulse than the powder burn rates. My $.02 on it anyways.

    2000MR + 308 + 155 SMK Palma OCW test

With my rifle, i had a node at 48.3 then another node at 50.0 (about max case capicity) without any pressure issues. 30" Brux with a Palma 95 chamber. The vel at 48.3 was 2970fps. I haven't run the 50gr load across the chrono but it shoots where I point them. I'm using the Nosler 155's...

    Power Chamfer deburring set

I've never used that. Looks nifty. I use the drill adaptor with regular chamfer tools and that works good enough for me. I have 2 different adaptors with 2 different tools. That way I dont have to shift them around.

Redding Seating Stem- Who's cracked one?

Mine didn't crack, it just bulged to the point that it wouldn't slide inside the sleve.

Please explain how a bullet can "go to sleep" and get more accurate at longer ranges?

Once upon a time, I used to help train the local PD sniper teams. My brother and I would shoot against the rest of the teams in competition. I used a slightly tricked out 1903 Springfield 30.06 deer rifle with a fixed objective scope. I could always out-shoot them for group size at 200 yds...

    WTK: Drop tubes?

Some of the funnels on the drop-tubes need to be reamed out a bit. They are way smaller than they need to be. You may can open up the Frankford funnel a little and get it to working correctly Dillon powder funnels work better if they are opened up a little and then polished. It stops a lot...

MR-2000 50.0gr SBS brass Wolf LRP Nosler 155gr Brux 1/11 twist, 30" There was an OCW node at 48.5gr that run 2970fps. I haven't had a chance to chrono the new load at 50.0 gr. Per Dan's guestimate, the next node was very close to 3%. 600 yds, 4 into 3.5", fith shot opened it to 4.5"...
