    6.5x55 Swede

I need around 2650 for the 140's. I did notice the lapua data for the SKAN to show N540 for the 136. I do have a fair amount of that, and some 136's I might try that with them and the 140's.

    6.5x55 Swede

I was hoping H1000 would work better than it did. I don't think you can get enough of that in the case for pressure issue. I have alot of everything but H4350 or RE22. The RE22 loads I had were ld and used in a M38 Swedish Mauser. The CZ550 was a nice surprise and really got me interested in the...

    6.5x55 Swede

lets get this back up. I just got a 6,5x55 CZ550 for shooting Silohuette with. bedded it and its a great rifle, shoots better than I thought it would. With 140 Hornady HPBT, in Rem cases 35.3 8208xbr shot same POI at 200 as 46.5 RE22 with 142 sierras, and would put 5 of them into just under an...

    69 SMK and H4895

24.2 of H4895 with the Hornady 75 mag length or the Berger 75 VLD long loaded has been rediculous for me. In an AR. in my Bolt gun, 25.0 of H4895 with the 75 Berger is scary.

    6XC Loads

39.5 H4350 and 105-107 anything jump .010 works well for me in a 26 in 1-7.5 Bartlein 5R and Barnard P action. 10 shots will group under .5 with a sling and irons at 100. 40.0 RE17 with Moly 115 DTACS jumping .010 resulted in a 200-17x at 600 yds iron sights and a sling. 37.0 Varget with a 90...

    69 SMK and H4895

25.0 H4895 has been very consistent for me in several rifles. H4895 is often overlooked for 223 but has proven to be the best powder I have tried for it in several rifles with several bullet weights.

    Range Report 62GR vs M855

In a match grade rifle I think you would be surprised. I don't know if you are familiar with NRA or CMP High Power rifle course, but I have shot clean scores for 20 shots sitting, at 200, and prone 300 yd NRA target, timed rapid fire. Standard ATC High-power course of fire, with an A2 NM rifle...

How to carry a heavy rifle

A "coolie" is actually what Americans called Chinese immigrants, its the equivalent to the N word, but since my wife doesn't read the 'hide, I guess it's ok... ;) They were called thuggies or Punjabs to be disrespectful. During OIF-1, one of our soldiers asked a British soldier if one of the...

How to carry a heavy rifle

Usually I'd say, put your purse down and use your man hands... But it's just better in person. ;) There, now you almost had some smart ass remarks!! Maybe next time.. ;)

How to carry a heavy rifle

I'd say you'd need a heavy rifle first... When you get one, a heavy rifle that is, the above suggestions do work well. I just sling it, or bush carry. Mine with can is over 17lbs... Ill weigh it tomorrow and see... Just messin with you man. ;)

6mm Creedmoor barrel life in GAP10?

If you think your there then you are. There is no set number, but over 3000 is probably better than most! Barrels are expendable, get a new one and don't think about it. I have had 223 AR barrels that have gone 5000 rds and some only went 3000. They still shot good at 200, but were bad at 300...

    4895 or 4064 plus 69gr smk for .223

Yep. Came to the same load several years ago and has shot well in every rifle I tried it in. Several others came to the same conclusion. Save your 4064 for 308/30-06
