I just received my 6-36 PM II with the P5FL. I had the P4FL on my 5-25 for the last 10 years and aways loved it. I feel the same about the P5FL. BTW, this scope has something that I have never seen on anything else. The Illumination is day light visible.
I've hunted 5 times in Africa plus Canada, Alaska and Mexico. Almost everything was cleanly taken with a 308 using a 150gr Barnes Triple Shock. For dangerous game a 375 with 300gr Barnes was used. Get close (within 200 yds), get steady, and put the bullet in the high heart, low lung area. The...
I have used just about every high end scope at one time or the other. My two favorites currently are the S&B 5-25 and the Nightforce I have owned just about every high end scope at one time or the other. Currently I am using the two I like the best, the S&B 5-25 and the Nightforce Atacr 7-35...

I have had mine for over 10 years and love it. To me the best features of the S&B are (1) robustness, (2) quality of glass, and (3) the Pf fine reticle. I think to some extent scopes, like rifles and cars, are personal. But, I don't see how you could be disappointed if you got one.
I recently acquired a Masterpiece Arms BA in 224 Valkyrie. It is extremely accurate and I love the MPA stock. The only weakness is the magazines. MPA has to rework a 10 rd 223 Rem mag made by another company. I purchased three but only two mags work and they cost over $50 each. The barrel has...
I had the recent opportunity to shoot the 224 Valkyrie at JP Rifles Blue Steel Ranch. Ballistics using the 90gr SMK seemed similar to my 6.5 CM but with much less recoil. Targets out to 1,000 yards were successfully engaged and bullet splashes at that distance could be observed. I was extremely...
