An in-law of mine uses BL-C(2) exclusively for 223/556. His pet load for 55 grain projectiles is 26.2gr, LC brass, CCI primers. Reduce by 10% and work your way up of course

Anyone have data for Alliant 1200-R? Platform would be semi-auto carbine, 55 grain projectiles. Usage would be plinking/carbine class etc. I happened on a few pounds of this 1200-R, and figured if I could use it for non-OCD purposes I could save the 'good stuff' for my precision loads...

Just like the thread title says, DMR or NM is the question. Precision platform, prone/bench. No plans for hunting with this rifle, primarily for mid-range (out to 600yd) target use only. I'm looking for input from y'all who have one or both of these triggers. Thanks:D

I'm just getting my feet wet in F-class, thus the noobie question. What are you guys/gals using for spotting scope tripods? Pros/cons? Moderators- if this belongs in a different subforum, oops.

I have a Krieger DCM (AR-15) barrel on order, "minimum-spec 223 chamber". I'll headspace it before running it of course, but I'd like to get started on brass prep. If I full-length resize brass to 'go' gauge spec, I should be GTG. Right? Or bump back .002 from the 'go' gauge?

43.6 grs, lapua brass, .010 off the lands. 2810fps out of a 24" 10-twist barrel, single digit SD, half minute capable when I do my part :)

Agreed. I've found that accuracy starts falling off after 50-60 rounds through my semi-auto gas gun. Around round 40 or so, I'll yank a borenake through it, and that seems to settle it back down. For comparison, my precision bolt gun (308) doesn't start opening up until at least triple that...

190 Sierra Matchkings, 42.3 grains Varget, Lapua cases, CCI regular primers. Leaving a 24" barrel right at 2600fps, standard deviations in the low-teens (still working on tightening that up a bit), 36.5 to 1k, 15.5 to 600. Pretty good BC (.533 G1) At 1000, they're running with their tongue...
