Rifle Scopes Assistance for a math challenged shooter

Reset the data and ran it again in 5yds, you were very close: I got 205, 270, 335 and 400 for the 125gr OTM. So, it only varied on the first dot 5 yards. Thanks for getting me straight on how to use JBM, I plan to check my other cards with this as well. BA

Rifle Scopes Burris MTAC 1X4 and Rem/AAC .300 Blackout Question

    SIG 556

Re: SIG 556 I have a SIG 556 and run it with 55gr ball ammo and its a solid shooter. The trigger is different (not bad, not good, just feels different than a good AR trigger) and its reasonably accurate. I did not like the diopeter sight, so I mounted an EoTech. The other poster is correct...

    Thoughts on new aquisition

Re: Thoughts on new aquisition Range Report: Ok, so I took the 700 to the range and did some testing, conditions were about 40 deg, sunny with a 5 mph breeze. The rifle was throughly cleaned prior to shooting, no copper fouling whatsoever was evident. The Vari-X III 6.5-20X40 was set at...

    Thoughts on new aquisition

Re: Thoughts on new aquisition This place is a gun shop not a pawn shop. What I think may have happened is this: They are a high volume shop, near a medium sized city, lots of novice customers and lots of novice guys working in the shop with lots of employee turnover. I think what may have...

    Thoughts on new aquisition

Re: Thoughts on new aquisition An update on the 700, I plugged the bore and thourougly cleaned the rifle, removed it from the stock and found a nice Timney Trigger and bedding job. Put it back together and will get it to the range soon and will post up some results. I will have to see if I...

    Thoughts on new aquisition

Just picked up a new rig on a impulse buy. Was at the local gun shop and saw a HB bolt gun. Took a look and it was a Rem700 VLS varmint in .223 with the tube shortened to 21" and target crowned riding in a heavy laminated stock. The trigger has been done (well) and looks/feels like the bolt has...

    Trigger Reccomendatiion

Re: Trigger Reccomendatiion Thanks for everybodys suggestions, in the end I focused on RRA, Giselle and Timney and ended up ordering a Timney. Main reason is simply that I have had several of them on bolt guns and been very happy and the modular drop in design of the unit. They also have very...

    Smith&Wesson Sport AR15

Re: Smith&Wesson Sport AR15 Yes, I suspected as much and did in fact attempt to seperate them to use the larger apeture, however it would not move and I felt that had I pushed harder I would have broken the sight. Could be that I have a defective rear sight, I shoot well with it as is, but at...
