I'd say remove the comp. Throw in the factory #17 spring. Grab some +P rounds. Shoot it. Break it in well. Until it shoots reliably with standard ammo. Then try it with the comp. Even racking the slide a bunch of times can do the trick. Once that fire reliably, then revisit the comp. I'd say...
