I have several Burris scopes. Bought a new XTR3 that I mounted up on the rifle and when I went to set my zero stop I noticed the turret locking allen head screw was stripped from the factory so I returned to Burris and they fixed it. Since my PST Gen 2 was off the rifle, I compared both...
great questions cunnerman! I too am in the market for 7PRC. My 6.5CM is good to 1400-1500 yds and have done 1 mile several times but it is not optimal. If you are going to be 1500yds are less, a 6.5CM can be optimal. The challenge with 7PRC is its targeted towards the hunting crowd, thus in...
Sorry to hear about your experience with CS. Mine has just been the opposite over the last few years. I run 3 Burris optics. I bent one scope tube using crappy weaver rings and Burris sent me a new scope FOC. Had new XTR that wouldn’t hold zero, parrelax issues and had a stripped dial...
I‘m down to the same choosing between Razor G3, MK5 or Zeiss S3. Would like to do a S3 due to internal elevation range, but in case of damaging a scope like I did on my PST (bent the tube when dropped rifle on the scope‘s back on concrete), nice to have a warranty that covers accidents.
I have two of the Burris SFP 4.5x14. One Predator Quest E1 with BDC in a 223 truck gun and one on a Ruger No 1 25-06 Deer/Antelope rife with MOA Long Range Reticle. Both are awesome scopes.
Mea Culpa. I should have read the policy more closely, I didn’t not catch that returns are for in store credit. Not a dig against Liberty Optics, just make sure one is aware of the policy 10/9/2022 Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase...
I’m a bit detailed when I level a scope, my process: 1. “Lightly” mount the scope and rings and confirm eye relief is acceptable at max/min zoom. Place a pencil mark on the scope to mark location of rings,p.Also ensure rail is torqu’ed to spec. 2. remove scope, place rifle in vise(like a tipon...
The original one that had the broken turret and wouldn’t hold zero was one of the first shipped months ago. I had it sitting in the box for a few months before I mounted it. The 2nd one was provided by Burris a few weeks ago, I never mounted it, used it to compare to the PST G2.
Good Morning Wanted to post my experience on the Burris XTR3i (5.5x30x56 MOA) purchased to replace my PST G2 5x25, looking to get a step up in optics quality…. . After an unsuccessful sight in due to a broken (from factory) elevation turret screw, I returned to Burris for the warranty work and...
Many thanks for the excellent responses. My initial question may have caused a little bit of wobble in the steering. Let me clarify my question: MarkandSamAfterWork don’t seem to be “lobbing artillery” in their 6.5CM 3000 yd video. They also have other videos connecting ELR with other...
Thinking of going to different caliber from my 6.5CM for 1760 to 2400 yds. Taken the 6.5CM to a mile but it seems to be optimized 1500 yds. Lots of good information and recommendations for 7mm, 30 cal and 338 and even larger here in the ELR section. What has been bugging me is and my...
Interesting, to my eyes in the photo at 10x the ZCO looks better (notice the green scrub in the left foreground) than the Zeiss. But at 25x the Zeiss is slightly better.
