How do the Seekins/Vortex rings compare to the Nightforce Ultralights? I'm also needing a couple sets of new rings and had narrowed it down to these 2.

I've had good luck with my Leupold VX3 6.5-20x40 EFR Target. It's a really nice scope for a 22. I have it up for sell over in the optics classifieds only because hunting season is approaching fast and I have to get another scope (30mm) for my hunting rifle.

Murphy Precision has set screws that are brass tipped which sounds great, but they are triple the price of the DIP. Read somewhere to drop a lead shot in below the set screw to prevent marring…think I'll go with DIP and try that.

Yes, they are not drilled and tapped and the DIP uses the 6 set screws. Did they mar your action on your 455, or do you know? Thanks

What's available and considered the best? I seen the DIP, which looks great, but I'm worried about the 6 set screws marring into the action.

Re: LA or SA for 260 Rem? Thats one of the reasons I built a 6.5x47 instead of the .260. I was concerned about the 139 scenars and 140 bergers having to be seated down in the case a little to be able to mag. I don't think it would be much though.
